Lovely staff, extremely friendly, personable, and always helpful. Good breakfasts in the neighbourhood, and nice to have a variety. Very handy position in the heart of town. A great stay.

The only down side is that the property was rather airless. It was not a very hot spell in the summer, but we needed our room fan on in the day and throughout the night to try and keep cool. It was also hot sitting downstairs. The fridge-cooled water constantly available was very welcome.

The room was fresh, attractive and well appointed with quality furnishings and fittings. Staff/owner was very welcoming and chatty. The location in the centre of Arundel is perfect for eating, drinking, visiting and walking. There is a wonderful choice of restaurants, all types. We would stay here again.

Parking is not easy nearby but if you don't mind a short walk we found plenty of free spaces. Apparently my wife would have liked a shelf by the mirror on which to lay her make-up while making herself pretty (can't argue with that one !).

Beautiful property, comfortable room/bed, immaculately clean, very lovely, personalised service, great communal space for relaxing, and great location. Overall luxurious and relaxed feel and lovely attention to detail, thoughtful touches.

Outside noise at night until midnight (Saturday night karaoke!) but not the fault of the property. Breakfast location didn’t quite match the style/vibe of the venue though food was fine (the second breakfast venue not open some days).

Location perfect. Centre of town. Choice of breakfast at 2 venues for variety. Lovely room and decor. Owners give a very friendly and personal service. So welcoming, and helpful. Very accommodating. Lovely little touches. Even if you don’t use them. It’s the thought that counts. Will always stay there now when visiting Arundel. Have stayed in Arundel many times in the last few years visiting a family member, and this is without a doubt the best accommodation we have had. Highly recommend

A great little hotel. very nicely brought up to date, but keeping it’s charm. Although it faces the high street, Arundel is so quiet we we not disturbed. A lovely, fresh breakfast with great coffee. Chatting to our hosts was great and we wish them well, they have the right ideas to make it work.Loads of parking just a five minute walk away.

For us, the bed was a bit hard. I often think that hotels could charge a fee, say £5 per night for a medium or as of “topper” to go on the bed, then everyone would be catered for. There is a bit of light coming in past the curtains, but we are from the country and not used to street lights! Oh, the floors do creak, especially the top floor…but, it is an old building.

House Arundel is really central in the town but really quiet in the evening My room was beautifully decorated and the bed incredibly comfortable. Lovely clean, contemporary bathroom with super plush towels. Teas and coffee in the room with an honesty bar downstairs. The owners are super-friendly and helpful too. A wonderful stay!

Nothing at all to dislike!

Located in the heart of historic Arundel and the perfect position to explore the town. Greeted warmly by Maggie upon arrival and throughout our stay. Our room was very clean, comfortable and cosy and we found everything we needed. Excellent bed and we both slept very well. We will not hesitate to stay here again when next in the area.

I surprised my mother with an overnight stay at House Arundel for her 50th Birthday. I could not have chosen a better place to stay! Absolutely stunning B&B, fantastic decor (we loved all of the plants), spotlessly clean, huge comfy bed! Judith and Meinte are amazing hosts. So friendly and informative about the local area. They went above and beyond to make our stay as special as possible! From birthday balloons in our room, to homemade vegan croissants, over-night oats and butter just for me!! We will be back!! :)

Absolutely nothing could have been better!!

The whole "House" experience was exceptional. The bedrooms are very comfortable, and the communal areas were well equipped. Maggie was on hand to answer any questions and ensures the place is spotless. We can't wait to stay again.

Nothing!

The amount of love and care Judith and Meinte give to the place and the guests is amazing. It felt like we were staying at our friend's house, only professional! The breakfast was spectacular, with lots of homemade items like creamy butter (best butter we ever tasted) and jams. The recommendations Judith gave us on restaurants to try / experiences available around Arundel were great. Both Judith and Meinte are very friendly and super professional. The place is clean and they have little touches that make the experience complete like little chocolates/biscuits with the tea set and aromatic soaps. The best place in Arundel without any doubt!
