Staff were excellent, friendly , helpful. Breakfast was good . Very good central location.

The sink didn’t drain in the bathroom. The sheets didn’t look that fresh . I did ask but they werent changed . For the price of room , felt there could have been daily housekeeping. I had to buy drinking water because the water from the cold tap was warm and tasted odd.

Noisy room due to the second floor window facing main street, the air conditioner did not get the room cool enough, no breakfast, price of the room was a little high considering there was no breakfast and the aforementioned issues with the air conditioner and noise

I really loved the location of this hotel being in 5 Points. We were in walking distance to dining and bars.

The room and overall hotel didn't look exactly like the pictures online and thus was a bit pricey that weekend to not exceed expectations. Also, there was dining on site however the menu was very limited.

I loved the apothecary theme. The room was well decorated and had a great view. The hotel is located about 10 minutes from all the best places in the city. There are things to do all around the hotel. They seemed short staff , but the staff they did have was sweet. I would definitely stay here again

The elevator would randomly stop working multiple times during my stay probably once or twice a day. Breakfast not worth it. There is a parking garage behind the hotel, but it would be nice if they had some kind of deal worked out with the garage.

The property location makes it walkable to 5 Points bars and restaurants, UAB and downtown. great business destination with plenty of public transit option.

Parking is expensive. Its almost cheaper to park on the street than in any of the parking lots nearby.

Location was great...friendly staff mostly. Breakfast servers a little curt at times but all other staff friendly and helpful.

Hated to pay for parking but service was good.

We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel's "Medical" theme as the building once was a hospital. The choice of furniture, colors and the pictures on the wall. Loved the staffs uniforms which consisted of lab coats for the front desk agent and scrubs for the housekeeping staff. They even had syringe pens! It is a historical/University town and everyone was away for the holidays, so it was pretty quiet.

Hallways needed a little more freshness, it smelled a tad bit stale. The elevator felt as though it could quit at any moment & the inspection on it was out in 2019 according to the inspection paper on the inside. The bad closes too early to be in such a partying atmosphere.

The suite was very spacious and clean.

The bathroom didn’t have anywhere to hang towels. The elevator was super old and loud and honestly scary. The parking was annoying but I guess that’s expected with businesses downtown.
