I like the parking building. I like quick response of the staff to correct a problem.

Not bad, but not what I expected The room. I rented was a balcony room. However, there was no furniture on the balcony to relax and enjoy the view. The first morning, I needed to have my toilet plunged, somewhat inconvenient. Day 2, the air went out in the hallway. It was hot. At checkin, I was not informed of status benefits. Thus, I paid for my breakfast the next morning, and it should have been complimentary My breakfast bread was tart as if it was spoiled

Room was spacious, elevators were fast. Staff was very nice and helpful. The restaurant though pricey was good.

There was a smell throughout the hotel like there was a busted sewer pipe or something. It was never addressed though it was quite obvious. Parking was not included, was not advertised, and suitable option outside of the garage was not provided. If you're going to charge $14 a day then the security of the vehicle and items in it should be protected but the hotel takes no responsibility. 21% charge for room service is excessive as the prices for the food was already high. Room could have had a microwave.

Location

We had a room on 9th floor. Traffic noise was loud. There was no room service as advertised. went to restaurant and only had one server. bartender served my martini in a rock glass. she also didn’t know how to make a Long Island ice tea. bartender was not one with experience. if I pay $300 a night for a room that is supposed to have room service I want it. also want a good bartender.

Standard Hilton hotel with convenient location to UAB facilities and some restaurants nearby. Late check out was arranged per request, which is definitely a plus. Wi-Fi was good enough to do some work.

As any big chain hotel, this place could be cleaner, could have more hooks in the bathroom, but overall nothing unexpected. If you ever stayed at Hilton this will be your average deal.

The breakfast was complimentary due to a problem with our bathroom sink which was stopped up later that evening. The front desk agent offer us another room, but it was late that night so we decided to stay in the room.

The bathroom sink stopped up. Outside of that the accommodations were great! We attended a college alumni event throughout the day. It was very enjoyable.

Clean hotel good location

The room was clean, bed was comfortable but the location of the coffee pot was unusable, it was on top of a table with a whole on the top for the plug to go thru but didn’t fit. to use you had to put on the bottom shelf which is about two inches from the floor - gross. The bartender etc where not friendly at all and it took forever to order a drink and food.

The staff went out if their way to help us look for a lost watch. They did not find the watch but they did find a pillow we left in the room. They shipped the pillow back to us quickly. FYI... we found the watch in our suitcase the next day. Thank you Hilton UAB for the great service!!!

The ceiling in the room needed maintenance.

very nice, lovely restaurants

had to make numerous phone calls about people next door smoking pot. made 3 calls one morning & was asked if I wanted to move!!! why???? I wasn’t the problem!!! also, 2 times when we went to the restaurant to eat we could smell pot as soon as coming off the elevator! I reported this to management.

The location was near attractions however it was quiet. The rooms at the hotel meet my expectations. When entering the room it had a pleasant smell and looked very clean.

One area of improvement is the size of the refrigerator in the room it was too small to hold two to-go meals.

I liked that the bathroom was very clean, the comfort of the bed, the comfort of the room of feeling like home. Front desk was very nice & very helpful with everything!

I love the whole parking deck idea. Wish there was more room for valet! I didn't like the whole getting charge each day for parking tho, wish it could of just been one price but not too pricey, but It was still great tho & very accessible to be able to park on or by the floor I was staying on!
