Sleep Inn & Suites Birmingham - Hoover

Loved the room layout. Bed was comfortable. Loved the wet bar.

Bathroom was very small. Could not close the bathroom door if you were sitting on the toilet. Just too small for a comfortable experience. Parking lot was small also, not enough spaces if the hotel was full. The breakfast could use an upgrade. No hot foods, no condiments...the word"covid" has worn out it's welcome. We stayed in another Choice hotel in a different city and they had a full wonderful breakfast...we are so tired of hotels blaming lack of breakfast and lack of housekeeping service on covid..... Also had to pay $35.00 for an early check in....so if this is the case, are hotels going to refund you money if you check out before the check out time???

The room was clean and spacious. The desk clerk at check in was new and not as knowledgeable as the morning staff. The bed was comfortable and the shower was clean and warm. I didn't have breakfast this time.

The guests in the room next to me had their television on all night. It was pretty loud. I was really tired and didn't want to complain, but it seems like the walls are a little thin. I could hear the highway, but again, I was tired so I slept well.

I liked majority of everything. Customer service was good, room was clean and free of any smells. The location was amazing as well.

I didn’t like the fact that the bathroom sink water wasn’t coming out fully, it was barely anything coming out. I had to use the tub to wash my face the next morning and the apple juice for breakfast tasted like water.

The guy at the front desk was there n so amazing at 3am. He is what every motel needs especially us being so tired at 3am.

Later after waking up we decided we would stay another night and so my husband went to front desk and I was charged another deposit by card after I had already given a cash deposit earlier. The guy brought me the cash deposit to my room once I let him know about it but it takes so long to get it back on my card I like paying the deposit with cash

Room was large and comfortable. Water pressure was excellent. Room was clean. Coffee at any hour in the lobby area was a bonus. Grab n go breakfast was fair. A/C Heating unit worked perfectly!!!!

This property is only about 50 yards from I-459 and the traffic noise was distracting and intrusive at times. So if you like the TV loud enough to drown out freeway noise, well this is the place for you!!! I would recommend requesting a room on the street side of the property rather than the freeway side.

We always stay here at this hotel. The stay and breakfast is always great, simple for the kids. The are a lot of eating places near by. It’s always quiet unless you get a room near the highway.

There isn’t a lot I didn’t like about the hotel expect the pillows are terrible.

it was clean, bright, smelled good, beds were comfortable, big bathroom, very friendly personnel, nice breakfast area.

the only complaint we had was that the AC machine really needs to be upgraded — the buttons were loose and not aligning with the correct settings, but the machine worked at least. otherwise we had a very nice stay!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location was great. Clean room and also the rest of the facilities. Breakfast area was clean and waffles were great.

Breakfast selection was limited.

The breakfast could have had more selections. The bathtub needs to be updated.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and neat, very comfortable beds and room excellent breakfast choices. Easy checkout without difficulty and receipt given without having too ask for it. Will definitely stay here again.

There was nothing too dislike it was well located close to several restaurants just right down the street, felt very comfortable and safe staying here.
