This is the second year our family and friends have stayed at the Embassy for an event at the convention center. The Location is prime, the Breakfast is great, lots of options to chose from, we enjoy the bar area and snacks during happy hour with complimentary drinks, over all the Embassy has everything to offer ! We had a great corner room overlooking the beautiful historic train station and river.

I wished the parking situation was better and that you were not charged extra to park in the hotel parking lot we ended up having to park in the parking garage paying $10 and the walk over, we would have parked in Hotel parking despite the extra fee but it was already full upon check in. Parking and hauling all your luggage over from the garage in the August heat was a little much especially since the elevator in the garage was a broken down. Also it felt unsafe, with the grey hound bus stop there and people loitering around, the stair wells were really dirty in the parking garage.

Staff was very pleasant and assured we had what we needed for comfort! Anthony the young man preparing the omelets every morning was EXCELLENT AND INVITING every morning definitely a asset to the hotel!

The location is ideal, within walking distance of the baseball field, historical places of interest and basically in the parking lot of the convention center. Parking was ideal, right out front for an extra fee we were able to park before check in, The Happy Hour Reception in the lobby with free drinks and snacks was fun and the free breakfast had lots of choices, was hot and plenty. Every employee we encountered was friendly and professional.

There seemed to be only 2 elevators working out of 3 considering the Hotel seemed to be at full capacity this caused a back up at the elevators. The Stairs do not exit into the lobby area - only Emergency exit on ground level to the outside, so the fact we couldn't use the stairs to circumvent the line at the elevators was a little annoying. I never did find the pool area.

Great sized rooms in an excellent location of town. Breakfast included in the rate was great - the option for your own choice of omelette was brilliant. breakfast staff hard working and efficient.

Tried to check in around just before 5pm but told room not ready. No available timeframe as rooms being serviced - except told there were many people ahead of us and we were at the bottom of the list. We did get offered a coupon for beverage. Finally we could check in at 7.30pm. Can understand that the cleaning team may be understaffed hence the delay but the disinterest from staff was causing frustration to everybody trying to check in.

Aside from the leaking ceiling and disregard for the leaking the stay was excellent.

A strong storm came through and the ceiling started leaking. I notified the front desk after the storm when me and my wife went to eat and all they did was put a trash can under the leak. No offer to change rooms or any other compensation.

Location was great. Walking distance to restaurants and only a short drive to the base. Most of the staff was great for the most part. The breakfast was awesome 👌.

The building needs some overall renovation and deep cleaning. Also, parking is not free at this location. The fire alarm went off the first night and everyone had to evacuate the building around 3am-- I wasn't able to get back to sleep after that 😑. The fan on the AC had to remain in the ON position just to keep the room cool-- it was loud and the water pressure in the shower was kinda weak. Also, the ceilings in the rooms are extra low and the return vent was dripping water...Not sure when this hotel was built, but it's age shows in certain areas. I've stayed at Embassy Suites before, but this one definitely needs some updates. Overall, all of my needs were met 😊.

Best breakfast ever, you could order your own omelettes, omelette chef was excellent! Evening reception with drinks and snacks.

Wi-Fi wasn’t always great in the room. It was hard to get information about the civil rights museums, etc. from the hotel. There was not a first aid kit in the hotel. (I had fallen, not on hotel premises) and needed a bandage.

the food could use some pepping up but good portions. The staff were very nice, except the kitchen cook/manager working evenings. There was a problem with the first suite A/C, so we were moved. The manager had also given us a voucher for a free appetizer. When we used the voucher on the third day of our 4 day stay in a suite not a standard room, the cook came out and confronted my daughter saying she could not use it. The manager that had given it to us was on duty. When she learned what was going on she stepped in and put a stop to it. The rest of the staff from maintenance to bartender were super. My 76 year old mother and my 38 year old daughter were there and we all loved the staff.

I loved the made to order omelets. The location is great. The staff was very friendly. The air conditioner was great and kept the room very comfortable.

The rates are too high for the quality. I will not be able to stay there again due to the excessive price. There was dust on the nightstand. The water pressure in the shower was not great!

Complimentary drinks and snacks were nice and staff were friendly and helpful with directions. A small plumbing problem upon checking into room but it was addressed and fixed immediately. Very pleased with size of rooms, we had six traveling together and we were comfortable

We had a little trouble with directions in finding the hotel but once we got there all was fine.
