The property was very clean, the staff were all friendly, the AC units worked extremely well, and the beds were so comfortable. The mini fridge was perfectly sized and I liked that there was a microwave in the room too. The location being right off the freeway was extremely convenient. It was a perfect place to stay while my home AC was being repaired. There was plenty of parking around the property. The continental breakfast was good too. When I had to extend my stay a couple days, the front desk staff made it so easy!

I didn’t like that there were only 2 pillows on each bed, but I didn’t try asking for more either. I also felt uneasy about the elevators. They worked but they felt old and there were a couple times I thought the door wasn’t going to open. Other than that, it was a great experience and I would stay again.

Being in a more affluent area of Phoenix, Scottsdale facilities seemed to be a bit nicer. Breakfast was pretty standard fare but it was nice to have a larger dining area to eat in. Also, the staff were accommodating enough for my kids, allowing us to stay in the pool a bit later.

The rooms were nice enough but our bedroom thermostat was broken, which only pumped in outside temperature air (read: Scottsdale in summer is hot...). There were a few other minor decor elements that were broken, but nothing that would prevent me from coming back.

The property was very quiet and clean, the rooms were adequately sized for our needs. Lots of entry access, breakfast was good.

The beds, we had multiple guests staying in different rooms and all of us ended up very sore from the beds and pillows. The beds seemed comfortable until we slept in them. Our bathroom doors were a little off which made them difficult and loud to close.

We love the property, the location was excellent. Near shopping plaza and easy in and out the city

The staff was really awesome. Except, one of the staff members walked into our room without knocking, just when my girlfriend got done getting dressed. She was startled. Management needs to talk to the staff and remind them to knock before entering. For safety and security purposes for them and the guests

Staff was very accommodating. First room had a problem with the lock so the instantly gave me another room. Both front desk and maintenance staff were professional and easy to deal with.

The pillows are trash!!! Made it hard to sleep. Everything else is amazing at this location. Please look into putting some funding into getting better pillows and it will make the place near perfect!!

Very pet friendly. My dog loved the grass play area and I loved that the hotel staff asked me if I wanted a first floor room to make it easierto take a pet out. Very thoughtful!

The room air conditioning was not adjustable. i wish I could have made it a little cooler. It was 112 degrees during my stay. It also could have been cleaner. The vinyl floor at the entry area seemed like it was not mopped when I arrived.

Room was decent size and clean. Had a microwave and refrigerator. Bed was comfortable. Shower was warm and had good pressure. Location is good to access hiking trails and restaurants (with a car, of course).

Walls were a little thin and there was a door connecting to another room through which the TV noise was loud. The white noise app on my phone came in handy for this!

It was all very nice for the most part.

I had no hot water in my sink and had to use the ice bucket to get water hot water. The breakfast could be better, perhaps some scrambled eggs. They had no room for me when I arrived, after a half hour they decided to put me in a room that someone booked through a third party but their card was declined.

Room and location was great. Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Quiet room.

Breakfast options were terrible. There were all carbs, some fruit, and 2 trays of sausage with no eggs. We had to get McDonald's every morning in order to not eat too many carbs.

This is the best LaQuinta we've ever stayed at. Everyone was very nice, helpful and accommodating. An employee got a wheelchair to help take my husband up to the room while I got our dog and luggage cart. Another employee got a wheelchair and came up to take my husband down to breakfast and then wheeled him back up to our room. Our room was a king suite and very clean. We didn't find dirt anywhere. The decor looked new and up to date. Maintenance came fast to fix a bathroom light. The king bed was very firm and comfortable. The room had a recliner and sofa-bed. Breakfast had waffles, hot and cold cereal, hard-boiled eggs, orange juice, apple juice, fruit, baked goods, and sausage links. The parking lot was very well lit up at night. There is a gas station next door and a Chick-fil-A. It is along side highway 101, so it was easy on and off. If we needed anything, we just called the front desk, and someone brought it up to the room. There were 2 elevators, as this hotel is large. We are definitely staying here again when we need to visit Mayo Clinic.

We had a handicap accessible room, BUT it was on the 2nd floor. They didn't have any accessible king suite on the first floor. If the elevator would have broke, handicap customers would be in trouble. That did happen to us at another LaQuinta while my husband was in a wheelchair. Having accessible rooms on upper floors is not smart. I'm not sure they had any accessible rooms on the first floor. Our accessible room had a low closet and bathroom sink, but they had a bathtub, instead of a roll-in shower. The tub had slanted sidewalls, so it could not utilize a seat. Our room was the farthest from the front entrance. It was a very long walk. They didn't have hot eggs for breakfast.
