It was convenient to where we had to go for my granddaughter’s Dance Nationals. The pool was great.

The room needs some updating. The bathroom door didn’t align to the doorway, the sliding door that leads to the patio the lock was broken and the exit door nearest to the room was also broken there was no lock so we didn’t have to use the card key to get in the building and was unlocked all night, we were there for 7 nights. Felt unsafe! The property pictures that you use to view the property before booking are somewhat deceiving, the room we had looked nothing like the room in your pictures.

McCormack Scottsdale is a wonderful resort for relaxing with family. The gardens and lake provide beautiful views. My family loved the pool. The rooms for two people are a good size and very clean. The staff are gracious and helpful. There is plenty of water available for free - so necessary for the dry climate.

Resort doesn’t offer alternatives for food allergies. I did not like going to the restaurant because they did not offer gluten free bread, granola, or milk alternatives or foods like risotto prepared without wheat. Waiters did not seem to understand why I didn’t want to order from the menu. Sugar packets were hard to find and healthier sugar substitutes, like Stevia were not provided.

All of the staff were amazing. They were kind, helpful, and accommodating. The grounds were nice, well manicured.

For the price of the room, and the more upscale location of the hotel, I would expect the pool deck to not be missing chunks of the cool deck making the surface uneven to walk on. The little lake was a great feature, the paddle boat was a nice touch, but when my son and I climbed into one and started drifting off we realized the pedals didn't work and were nearly stranded. If the hotel is providing that type of amenity, they should make sure they are operable. Beds were very uncomfortable.

The hotel is so clean and tidy. it is very well decorated and it has stunning ground. The rooms were large and very comfortable and our courtyard view was very nice too. The small lake it great to paddle around and whilst doing so I found a couple of dozen golf balls in the water from the adjacent golf hotel😁 staff were very attentive and friendly and couldn’t help enough. it is very well priced I would def recommend and stay there again we used the bikes, canoes and with camel mountain only 3 miles away clambered up that too😁

Staff is absolutely incredible! From the front desk to housekeeping. Excellent amenities. Free canoeing, kayaking, fishing, The views are spectacular. The pool is the perfect temp and clean. Cabana is free. Great for children to enjoy as well! Lovely restaurant. Many free (little) perks. Too many great things to list. I could go on and on…

The sliding door to patio! Almost got a hernia trying to slide it open or close!! Parking lot pavement needs attention-needs repaving. The pool deck could use re-paving as well.

location by the lake. tennis court, the staff was very user friendly and helpful and the gentleman working the bar was service orientated.

Resort fee $30 per day - not a good value @ this location. to me this is the same as the airlines - lowered airfare then charged you for luggage, preferred seating etc. the upfront charge for $50 per night on my credit card for incidentals that have not been purchased yet & then days to get credit card actually credited. Attorney general should look into this practice. All the hotels seem to have implemented this practice.

Ethan at the front desk did an amazing job for accommodating us. Our flight arrived at 9:30 AM from San Francisco and called the hotel to see if we can do an early check in. Without any hesitation, he granted our request. When we got there, he was very helpful and professional! We had a great time and a pleasant stay.

The bartender could have been more accommodating. Felt a shade of discrimination. Tried ignoring me.

Receptionist Heather was super helpful when we needed to change rooms, and to add an extra night stay. Food was quite good, reasonably priced, and service was always friendly and attentive. We really appreciate the dog-friendly policy. Overall ambience of the hotel is great. Views of the lake, outdoor patios, good architecture, etc.

Front entry looks like a Motel 6 entry. Should be remodeled with expanded glass entry with automatic doors in keeping with the overall caliber of the hotel. It could be stunning, and is the first impression of the hotel. No hot tub. Seriously? I automatically assume that every hotel with a pool would also have a hot tub. Room ac/heat unit is loud, blows too hard. We kept getting stuffed up and wondered if it might be the heater. Mattresses are hard and not comfortable. Sheets are all top sheets (not fitted bottom sheets) and kept getting all messed up.

We loved the location, the views of both the lake and the mountains, the very friendly staff, boats and bikes use and the restaurant. Having a delicious breakfast in the restaurant with beautiful views and exceptional staff started everyday perfectly. I can't think of anything we did not like. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you.

We were able to use the kayak and pool facilities which is included in the resort fee. The staff was very friendly. Room service is done per request (I guess most hotels do this these days). They have a hammock - when we got there, it was ruined, but they got it fixed the next day.

The lake is beautiful with ducks, geese, and hornbills. No worries, there are no crocodiles. The only thing is that due to the presence of these birds, bird poop seemed to scatter around the shore area and it looks ugly and not so sanitary. I wish they would clean the walkways to the lake on a regular basis so that it would look nice and clean to stroll by the lakeside on late afternoons or early morning.
