lovely staff, nice grounds to walk around. good price for area and though close to road, quiet and view of nature out back window.

no fault of the hotel, but across the street is an off leash huge intact male German shepherd that charged me & my dog as we checked out in the morning. Literally ran across the street and wouldn’t leave us despite me yelling to the owner. owner didn’t care until one of the staff called to them. again, no fault of the hotel, just heads up to fellow dog guardians.

Good location as a starting point into the Sierras. Nice large backyard area for kids to play in the snow. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was a bit busy but convenient along with the small convenience store at check in.

It might be more of a preference, but I like hardwood floors, they seem easier to clean. The carpet was a bit worn. I'm not sure if it was the staff or guests but there was some loud walking/talking on the deck outside the room around 5:30am which was quite early.

I liked the location, it was close to I-80 but the room was quiet. View in the back was a nice meadow, trees and mountains. Matthew was welcoming, and the breakfast was good and the server efficient!

Not much, there is an open stairway down to our room and on down to the lawn area, it was a bit tricky for my husband who walks with a cane.

You wouldn't expect the rooms to be so nice for such a low price, the staff was very helpful and they had everything wr needed

Early mornings you'll hear loud banging and that's typically the staff shoveling snow or fixing stuff, there's no problem with it but it did catch me off guard

We flew in to Sacramento very late at nite, and the road conditions permitted slow travel…we got there at about two am and the service was top notch! ! ! We we delighted to have such a welcome at that hour… The crew was very busy with snow removal in the am when we woke up and left. Jus a thanx to all involved

The staff were very accommodating and gracious. They took care in showing us to our room and told us several time to let them know if there was anything that we needed. The setting is beautiful overlooking a meadow with a mountain in the background.

I didn't like the slow internet when I needed it. Not using this against the hotel, because they do warn you ahead of check-in.

it is an affordable way to spend the night and still be close to the slopes. They have a restaurant in the place and a small convenience store.

You pay for what you get. The place is not comfortable, but ok. The food in their restaurant is barely ok.

quiet, clean and spacious. well heated. great food at the restaurant. great value for money. will come again.

a bit away from soda spring and truckee. need to drive 20 min to ski place. we are not bothered by it as it is very close to I-80 and easy to travel.

We loved the property! I was thinking we might hear road noise since it was close to the highway, but it was really quiet! the bed was super soft and comfy for me. I wish we had more time to stay to use the big fire pit in the back yard.
