This is the second time I've stayed here and the rooms are very nice and very comfortable.

The location of this room had a view of the parking lot instead of the golf course. Not a big deal, I was only there for one night and it was fine. One thing is that the lights turn off all the time. You'll be sitting there in bed reading or something and the light will turn off on their own every 20 minutes or so it's really weird.

The location and proximity to Camp Pendleton. The pool area is perfect, and it feels secluded. The landscaping is very nice and has fun signs to tell you a little about it. The beds are comfortable, and the house has everything you need. Lots of space for everyone. The welcome basket is a nice touch.

The sliding glass door on one side doesn't open very well. It seemed to be the door we wanted to use the most. Eventually, we learned to use a different door. Also, the ice maker in the fridge didn't work. We had to go back to the store for ice.

I teaveled from SFO to attend a wedding in Fallbrook at Dragon Villa. Initially, I didnt revollect that Pala Mesa was a golf resort. I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful grounds. They're also known for hosting weddings. I had a Tuna melt and omelet/hash browns on separate occasions. The food was delish! Friendly staff. Was with my partner, but still had a wandering eye for the male golfers (smile). All in all, I will be back!

Only complaint was that they didn't serve coffee to go

The restaurant and grounds were so pretty. Food was good .staff smiling and kind. The room bigger than expected or needed. Hubby loved the bed. Not quite firm enough for me. Little patio was a bonus. Flowers and greenery superb. Golf course exceptionally kept. Renovations being done no pool or spa. Would visit again.

There was a little smell in the room...maybe the pipes. Not overwhelming but noticeable.

Room was very nice. Clean and spacious and very comfortable. Nice and quiet. Staff was very efficient and friendly. We needed an early check in to get ready for a wedding and they were very accommodating. Enjoyed both the breakfast at their restaurant and the outdoor deli. We have some special dietary needs and they were very accommodating with that as well. Free wifi was nice too.

Location is nice if you want to relax and enjoy being in the country or playing golf. It is very quiet and peaceful. On the other hand being in an out of the way location also limits your dining options, shopping, etc.

Practice facility close by. The bed was super comfortable. Restaurant, food tasted great and great service if restaurant staff.

First day restaurant closed early. Almost missed to eat the next day do to closing at 7pm. No food delivery service or kitchenette in room. For golf tourney families that tee early and finish late. practice facility is great, room is comfortable, peaceful location, beautiful resort, but remember to restaurants close early or open short times. Bring food.

I liked how all rooms were easily accessible from the parking lot. The rooms were beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The hotel felt exceptionally safe.

This is a super minor observation. When arriving, the lines on the driveway was poorly painted, and it made it difficult to find the lobby when arriving for the first time in the dark.

We really enjoyed how much privacy there is. The resort is really big, and having the golf course as our view was really nice. The room was spacious, (2) Queen comfortable beds, a table and a lounge chair. The bathroom was clean and stocked, the placement of the shower and knob was interesting but helpful when you have small children.

I wish they would leave an extra blanket in the closet. If you need water, ice or a vending machine you need to drive to the lobby as the rooms are not attached to the main lobby. So just be prepared with your own water bottles etc.

The beds were comfy, it was a pretty big room and the property was very pretty

I didn't like that they put us on a second floor and didn't even tell me that there was no elevator so I has to carry my heavy suitcase and my mom's bag up some steps. The room doesn't have a microwave and if you want to order food you have to go drive to the front of the property to pick up your food from the restaurant.

EVERYTHING! The property grounds, the quiet, peaceful setting, the staff were very accommodating and responsive to my requests, the setting, the nice walks I was able to take safely, the high ceiling, the views and the trees and so much green
