Great location. Property well-cared for. Clean. Safe. Restaurant next door.

The lobby has the usual coffee hospitality table. Strangely, an evening staff member wouldn’t permit me to use the microwave in the hospitality area. She said it was only for employees to warm their food, then she changed, saying the smell of popcorn in the lobby wouldn’t be appropriate. (Smells of Staff lunches are appropriate???) Very strange hospitality.

Very cute facility! Appreciate the updated rooms and loved that it was right next to the dinner. Made it convenient to get something to eat when there was not much around. We also loved the communal outdoor seating area and little playground as well.

The staff weren't super friendly, but not rude. We were placed in a handicapped room and the entire floor, next to the shower, was completely drenched after a quick shower. We had to use additional towels to make sure we didn't slip. The mattresses were hard as rocks. I know it's a hotel, but some slightly softer mattresses would have been nice, especially after a day of hiking or exploring at Yosemite.

The location was quite nice and quiet if you get neighbors who don't make noise after 10PM. During one of our 4 nights, our next door neighbor was very noisy until midnight. When the plan is to get up early in the morning to go hiking, this wasn't the best. My suggestion for the Front desk is they should pass a flyer saying that after 10PM, all guests should be more considerate of other guests who need to go sleep early for the next day.

For this kind of price per night, a continental breakfast should be included at no additional charge.

The room was very clean and updated.

The front office staff was not very welcoming. I felt like I was intruding on their time. Though they did have a room ready for me early, at three pm. The male housekeeper cleaning the room next to mine, on the day I arrived, was yelling and using the f___ word as every other word he screamed. I thought it was a guest and I was going to ask the office to please move me. But then,, he was standing in front of my room and I recorded him yelling and swearing about tips, not getting his fair share or something like that.

I didn't feel the photos advertising the property did it justice - was nicer than anticipated. It was closer to Yosemite than other properties that cost more or didn't look as good, so in the sweet spot for cost and location.

A few kitchen utensils in the room would have been nice. There was a table that looked like it might be there for meals, but not even a teaspoon. I wasn't expecting too much, but still..

Room was nice and clean, properly conditioned with comfy beds and bathroom. WiFi connection was OK during our stay. We check-in pretty late ~11pm, it was smooth and easy.

Location is awesome when the Big Oak Flat Rd access to Yosemite is open, if not then you have to drive >2hrs through El Portal. That happened during our week. Of course, this is nothing related to the Hotel. But consider road status for possible closures when choosing where to lodge.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The fridge and microwave were appreciated.

The property didn't offer a continental breakfast, and the nearest grocery store was 11 miles away. We didn't realize until we were leaving that there actually was a nearby restaurant. It would have been helpful if they had made us aware of it. Also, the West entrance to Yosemite was still closed in May. The next available entrance is almost 2 hours away.

very clean and comfortable. Small old school restaurant next door with great breakfast. Lots of outdoor seating.

Front desk man was mean. I had seen others mention this too. Also a group of 10-12 people enjoyed the outdoor areas way too long into the night, at least 11:15pm, and got up before 6:09am with no consideration of others. They made a lot of noise both times, yet the mean front desk guy apparently said nothing.

Excellent access to Yosemite.

No elevator. Night staff (we checked in after 1:00am - but had called earlier to let them know this would be the case since we were routed because of a fire) was rude and unfriendly.

Smooth checkin, convenient check in hours, 20-minutes from park entrance, convenient location next to a restaurant with very nice service. The hotel has comfortable beds, good wifi and comfortable bathroom. Equipped with mini fridge and microwave was super convenient! I would recommend this hotel.

It is still about an hour from Yosemite and the staff could be more friendly.
