I left another hotel that was dirty, smelly, loud & nothing like the pictures, which was the exact same price. The other place threatened me for leaving & is still trying to keep my money, which is super weird & creepy. Sonesta was beautiful, clean, modern, the staff was very friendly, and it was extremely comfortable. We were staying for an extended time so it was really nice to come back each day.

The restaurant was very good and the staff was exceptional. They all went above and beyond with their service and were friendly and accommodating. My favorite was Augustine who couldn't have been more helpful, even delivering food to my room one night when I wasn't able to get downstairs easily.

I think parking should be included in the room rate and not made an extra charge however it was close to the entrance and uncrowded.

The location is great! lots of yummy food nearby. quiet, safe, comfortable surroundings. Easy to get to. I want to give a special thanks to Andrew who helped me check in late at night in the middle of his night audit. I happen to catch him while staff were alternating breaks, he was holding down the front desk, doing night audit and the phone was ringing. He handled everything quickly and welcoming as if he had 8 arms. Chrissy who was at the front desk in the mornings was so friendly and helpful no matter if I was the only person in the room or the lobby was busy with other guests. As I mention below, Scott helped me get on the elevator when there was a ton of high school kids who’s band was to perform at Disneyland checking in. Late I found out he was the shuttle driver and it wasn’t even his job. Finally Dave also helped me get back in my room when I demagnetized my room key on accident late at night. I still don’t know what his actual roll was but he jumped in the help with out hesitation. also the indoor pool, hot tub and gym are open and clean.

Even though it’s under reservation and I’m sure that a lot of people are complaining about that, the only inconvenience I experienced was that only one elevator was running. It only became a hassle when whole high school band was checking in but Scott the shuttle driver helped me move pass the crowd so I could get in my room when it was me against a mega bus full of teens and their escorts waiting.

I loved the indoor pool and hot tub definitely our highlight. loved the style and cleanliness of the room. The gentleman at checkout in the morning gave exceptional service. :)

The parking ticket machine was on the fritz and they are remodeling at the moment. The young lady who checked us in was rude and unwelcoming, she was inattentive and lazy like why am I even here type of attitude. I could tell she was new because she did not know how to check us in she required assistance for the whole transaction.It’s not that she’s new, my dislike was that her attitude was so unfriendly and unprofessional especially for someone working in the hospitality industry.

The location was nice and quiet because it’s in an area with lots of tall business buildings/hotels. The room was nice and tidy. The front staff were kind and helpful. The AC unit was nice, very quiet and efficient.

Minor inconveniences with the Smart TV not working. The vending machines also didn’t work. The bed was a bit too soft so my partner’s side was a lot more sunken so I felt like I was sleeping at an incline.

well we had some issues for the first two days- one room was dirty and after telling them three times they decided to help me. also they charge you $100 deposit for damage but for each night you stay. so my three nights plus an additional $300 was never told about this until we went to pay. that’s ridiculous the restaurant and bar was closed. the rooms are cute, not perfect but cute- Martha was awesome, the other three were just not friendly or helpful.

It’s brand new, fresh, good design, clean

Location is surroundings highways, so it is very noisy to sleep in the room, also the fire alarm blinking all the time in a dark room, so I need to cover it. That Asian lady on the reception was very rude and not friendly she act like she is a boss and you are the worker not she is a worker and I’m a client.

the property was great! renovations didn’t bother me at all and everything seemed very nice and minimalistic. very modern and clean. staff and personnel were quick and my accommodation for an extended checkout was honored.

the main facility was great, however, the parking lots and the structure to how parking works was disorganized and cumbersome. the outer lot seemed opened and accessible during the day without requiring the room key to access. however, the inner lot was sparse in spaces and the spaces were very small even for a compact car. let alone, once you return your key at checkout, you’re left pressing the assistant button in order to be assisted to leaving the inner lot as you no longer have a key to access the bar that’s blocking the exit.

Everything.. cleanliness, facilities, hot tub, decorations.

The only thing is they took TOO MUCH deposit and didn’t inform us to let us know that we should prepare the deposit too. Plus Tv is too hard to connect with phone so I couldn’t watch Netflix or Youtube at all in my stay but luckily they still have some good Tv channel.

I like the location. It's right next to the 405 freeway, so there's easy access to restaurants. And it's only about 10 minutes from the beach. Since my husband and I work remotely, there was plenty of room for both of us to set up our workstations within the room. I also love that the room had a bathtub. Most hotels nowadays don't have bathtubs, so that was a huge plus for me.

Because they were renovating areas of the hotel, the restaurant and bar were closed. Also, we could hear noise from the construction in our room. We called the front desk about moving to a different room, but instead, they comped us the daily parking fee. This saved us a lot of money considering that we stayed for 2 weeks.
