The room was clean, everything worked, and the large bed was very comfy. Also, the staff member I checked in with was very friendly and efficient. I also liked the location as it is right in the heart of town.

Not anything I can think of thought I was in a real rush to check in as I was late for a wedding and couldn’t immediately find the office. Might have been a sign I missed in my hurried state though.

It was very comfortable and the staff was super helpful and friendly.

I had Wi-Fi issues because my room was too far from a booster. Markleeville on a Tuesday has no open restaurant. I had to drive 20+ miles to dinner and another back. Beautiful town tho and the drive south the next morning to the 395 was worth every inconvenience.

Todd was very kind helping me get situated and parking my motorcycle. The room was very clean and comfortable.

I asked for a room in the front, which I was given. The only problem is that if you open your blind you will be on display to the restaurant across the street and the smokers outside your window where the benches are.

if you want to be in Markleeville, this is IT.

wifi could be better for sure. Lack of AC is ok because it gets cool at night but having a fan that brought in air at night automatically would be nice. clearing humidity in the room after a shower requires opening window and door for a bit.

Wi-Fi, very clean room and bathroom, though room is very dark Did not know how to work the Satellite TV, so that was a bummer. Hospitality is awesome, and pleasantly personal. I arrived to my room with a post-it on the door, for me. Cool!

Instructions for the TV could've been better. Room was dark due to location of lodge. Leaving.....

The room was clean. Tim and Todd accommodated our early arrival. Great people!

This is NOT a negative comment. Since I had so much to bring in and out of the room. Parking in front of room would have been nice. But not a deal breaker.

This lodge is amazing! The bedding was so soft and clean! I really had an awesome stay there. The host is so very nice and responsible. I decided to switch room type last minute and Todd called to confirm and also gave me some very detailed instructions. Definitely will recommend.

It might be a bit far from the center but it’s easy to find and is definitely a great deal compared to those over-commercialized hotels/resorts next to the lake

Very cool location the town of Markleeville was great. Lodge had a very friendly staff I believe his name was Todd very nice. Comfortable bed, really great bathroom shower was really nice. Would definitely come back for another stay.

Not much to dislike. The only thing it was very hot at night so maybe air conditioning would of been the cherry on top but it wasn't bad I slept good. Also we are having a heat wave so normally it maybe be cooler.

Communication and staff were extremely friendly and accommodating (eg. late arrival). The room we had was very clean, with nice new beds, updated shower/toilet facilities, the furnace also felt newly updated, but most importantly, no smell whatsoever. Location was also amazing: across the street there was a great breakfast place and to our left (literally next door) there was a great brewery with fantastic dinner options and live music. And natural hot springs 10 min away..

Staff was wonderful. Very attentive and careful to make sure I knew all of the check-in procedures. Room was very clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Nice attention to detail.

Exterior appearance is not very impressive, but don’t let that discourage you.
