can’t beat the location for skiing at Heavenly. Kids enjoyed the ping pong tables and pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we asked to have the door between our adjoining rooms unlocked and to use the facilities same day after we checked out. Bistro bar was a convenient place to watch March Madness.

We couldn’t get the room to cool off for sleeping at night but maybe we would have figured it out if we stayed longer. Hot tub for our building wasn’t in service but there was another option at the club house. Entrance to the garage was covered in ice and extremely slippery - would suggest some rock salt.

The room was very spacious and clean. The resort itself had many activities to take advantage of if you did not want to explore. The location was close to the downtown area as well as many hiking trails and scenic views if that peaks your interest. Overall, it was a great facility and well maintained.

The only thing that I didn't like was the lack of parking for certain buildings. There were not enough spaces towards the end of our trip once more and more people came in.

They didn’t have my reservations when we got there even though I had emails and booking number. Finally they gave us a room that was a studio when we had paid for a villa. Finally got straightened out but was a negative experience for a few hours for sure

Beautiful location. Rooms were nice and the layout of the 2 bedroom suite was great for us.

The only cons were availability of parking by our building and a long walk to the warm swimming pool.

no AC in the villas, it was very stuffy in the room. the sofa bed was not super comfortable. and the club house was pretty far from the unit

Had NO CONTROL of temperature in room. Thermostat did not respond. TV and internet went out.

Our condo was roomy and had a washer and dryer and full kitchen, perfect for our family of 6. It was very clean and comfortable.

Very spacious room for five adults. Nice kitchenette and living areas. Beautiful view. The property is not suited for easy walking from building to building, very steep, but the shuttle and transportation services were excellent and timely. Nice family pool area.

A little quicker response to phone requests at front desk. Having said that, all desk personnel were pleasant and easy to deal with. No real complaint.

The view from here is breathtaking. I knew it wasn’t going to be full on Lake Tahoe view, but I was awed by the view down the mountain into the valley on the Nevada side. It was the most pleasant of surprises. Our room in The Tower gave us a great vantage point. I thought the pool hours were great! The ski express seems super convenient for folks who are skiing and whatnot. That’s a skill for my future, hopefully. The food from the bistro was very good. The poor lady working that counter did a wonderful job despite being bombarded with call in orders, to go orders, and dine in orders. I think that is too much for one person. She was super pleasant and professional despite being in the middle of what looked like an understaffing situation.

The constant heat in our rooms in the tower. It was honestly really difficult. There were box fans in the closets, and I’d seen other reviews that mentioned this issue. So obviously it’s a known thing. We had a balcony so we could open the door, but it did not really affect the temperature in the master bedroom in our 2 bedroom suite. Also, there was a surprise incentive at check in if you went to the sales pitch for the Holiday Inn Owner’s situation. I guess like a timeshare. It was easy enough to decline, but I didn’t expect it. We had a very short trip with no extra time for things like that.
