Hotel Vue

Excellent hotel! We are from Connecticut and often visit our son who lives in Saratoga, CA. We stayed at this hotel in Mountain View and found it to be most centrally located. There are tons of restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. The free breakfast is very good. We always started our day with bagels, toast, fruits, coffee, and more. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We were delighted that this hotel had a Tesla Charging station for the Tesla we had rented during our visit. Room and bathroom were clean, comfortable, and with no road noise. We appreciated the maid service. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

There is nothing we didn’t like about this hotel.

Had everything I needed and was a convenient location to the shoreline amphitheater. If ubering to the venue, plan ahead and order the uber to drop you off on the side of the street instead turning into the venue parking lot, the traffic is a headache.

The parking didn’t feel totally secure but there was a lot of it, and I was able to look at the back parking lot from the balcony. My car was perfectly fine in the morning, plus it’s free

The staff were friendly and responsive to my needs. We were allowed an early check-in on arrival day. Toiletries were replenished in good time on request. Great location for visiting Silicon Valley tourism places. Within minutes of great sites such as Google!

The breakfast can be improved. It was too basic and the same everyday. Adding a few salty items such as eggs can improve the offering.

The beds were great, nice, and comfortable, except for the excessive snoring of my husband 😴, ok, very nice rooms

The excess snoring of my husband. The sink was outside of the restroom, I didn't care for that too much. And OMG, you call that a Continental Breakfast! Let me tell you, I have stayed at cheaper hotels with much better awray of sections. Naming one APPLE JUICE, Hello

the beds & pillows are very comfortable. room was clean. staff was friendly.

the hallway was a little undated and worn out. we could smell cigarette smoke very very strong in hallway and so strong it stuck to our clothes. that was the only issue we had. the back side parking lot needs more lighting, it was very dark and looks unsafe. I wouldn’t park there if I was alone.

I stayed on the 3rd floor. The elevator is slow, which is unfortunate but isn't rare, however the floors do not have lights that clearly indicate where the elevator is or that it is arriving. Lights + sound = accessibility. I used the stairs several times because I didn't know whether the elevator was coming or going. The stairwells were carpeted and perhaps because of that had a faint musty or stuffy odor.

A good room for the price. A nice bed, as well as a shower I could finally stand up in. I was only here for a day, but it served its goal as a one stop motel really well.

The breakfast seemed to be limited. Although I was late ~9:45 (by other hotel standards), they said the breakfast would be until 10:30. But at that time there weren't many options.

I really appreciated the cleanliness and the breakfast bar. They had different kind of bagels and slices of bread, along with a coffee and tea station. The rate was great for a last minute room.

Pretty outdated place. Parking was terrible in the front of the building, luckily there was plenty in the back of the building (even though it was poorly lit).

This Hotel is my FAVORITE HOTEL to stay at whenever I need to get away for awhile. This place makes me feel SAFE when I travel alone. The staff is so WONDERFUL and PATIENT. As soon as you walk in they greet you right away and make you feel welcomed. The manager Miguel is ALWAYS there to answer any questions or concerns you may have. He ALWAYS goes out of his way to make sure you are satisfied and that you have everything you need.

There is not one thing that I didn't like about this place. Everything fit my needs perfectly. The Staff, Location, Room, etc... This really is my Home away from Home.
