Holiday Inn Express - Sunnyvale - Silicon Valley, an IHG Hotel

It was a very nice and relaxing stay! The two staff at the front desk, Shay and RJ, are especially helpful. My travel plans changed and had to check out a few days early. They were so nice and helpful for figuring out the best low-cost way for me to make this change. It helped me save money too. Overall the hotel environment is pleasant. I would recommend.

The breakfast was absolutely fabulous. When a hotel says it serves "continental breakfast", I expect cold foods (ie cereal) and prepackaged items like muffins, etc. This hotel actually had fresh, hot prepared food in addition to the regular fare, as well as a fridge stocked with complimentary milk and yogurts (good yogurts!). The location is very conveniently close to downtown Sunnyvale and other restaurants and businesses. The hotel is set back far enough from the main road that noise from traffic is minimal. The room was tastefully decorated, with nice amenities like soaps and a microwave and fridge. I was very impressed by the value I got for what I paid for this stay, and I would like to stay here again if I'm looking for accommodations in the area.

The breakfast was yummy and perfect to start the day. The staff was attentive and kind. The hotel is fairly close to El Camino Hospital and was a good price for the cleanliness and hospitality.

One of the 3 nights, I had a noisy neighbor that woke me up. Thankfully they were gone the next night. Of course, this was not the fault of the hotel.

The room was very nice and modern. The bed was very comfortable and firm. The breakfast was plentiful, much better than others. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. This will be our go to place when Staying in this area. I highly recommend this hotel.

The refrigerator in the room made a continuous noise like a submarine diving. It didn’t bother me as much as it did my husband. I did not bother to contact the front desk. I figured they would just switch us rooms and I did not feel like moving.

This place is perfect. It is a bit farther from san Francisco but the drive is worth it for the price and room. Will definitely stay here on our next trip. It has everything you need . Free parking , free breakfast. The rooms are also well lit and have refrigerator and microwave. It's near a chick-fil- a that you can walk to . Neighborhood seems very calm and safe. Our room had two beds and everything was very clean .

We stayed for 1 night on the 1st floor. My only complaint is the people in the room above us were very loud and stomping/running in their room very late , it was very difficult to sleep. I had to call the front desk to give a noise complaint . I'm not sure if they did anything but I eventually fell asleep around 1am.

We were greeted on arrival by the manager who really made us feel welcome. The room and the whole hotel were extremely clean and looked like it just opened. The bed was comfortable and the linens were substantial. Breakfast was a step above the common one found in most hotels at this price point with premade omelets and two kinds of breakfast meats. The cinnamon rolls were excellent. Parking was free and well lighted. There are several local eateries within a couple of minutes walk. The Vietnamese restaurant was close, reasonable, and good. All the staff was cheerful and eager to be of service. Really a great place to stay.

It would have been nice if the room wasn't so warm when we arrived because we had to run the AC most of the night. Next time we will check in earlier. Other than that, I have no complaints.

The hotel and room were perfect for our needs, two one night stays one after a late arrival at SF airport and one before our early departure the next day. The room was clean and quiet. The large bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The elevator was not working, and when the clerk at the front desk saw I had a cane (I'm slightly disabled), he kindly carried most of my items (I took my own purse) to the second floor for me. VERY polite and thoughtful.

Fix the elevator so disabled people won't have to ask for extra help.

The rooms were clean and updated!! The staff were so hospitable and understanding to our needs at this location and other Holiday inns expresses that we’ve stayed at ! The hotel was clean, the beds were awesome, and the breakfast was worth every penny! So many stores and restaurants near bye you really don’t need a car just take a nice stroll on el Camino road and you’ll find what you’re looking for, for example, Chick-fil-A is a couple feet away lol plus many retail stores like Ross!

The room was clean and very comfortable. The manger of the hotel helped really cares for his property and guests. I had messages the hotel prior to our stay about locations of breweries in the area. Within minutes he had responded and gave 3 choices he had heard good things about. Really had the best stay and it’s very much appreciated.
