FREE convenient parking, clean room, spacious bathroom, large TV, dresser, two sinks in bathroom, large shower, shower gel, hand gel, complimentary breakfast with fruits, tea, coffee, eggs, croissant. tea packets & coffee in room. close to my family in Sunnyvale, trader joes, the farmers market, restaurants. Excellent location.

the hot water for tea was not hot enough (in room for shower & for the tea at breakfast), the breakfast room was not vacuumed, the utensils for the boil egg was too clumsy & awkward, the bread selection was not great, croissant was not good, had better at Costco, breakfast room w/ large windows overlooking pool was nice, lastly perhaps a bathmat & more towel bars in the bathroom.

Location. Food options are just across the street. Walking neighborhood is very recommended and doable. Also just driving along the main street one can reach many good spots. Room was really spacious, even the bathroom! That was a plus. Breakfast is super, however, it doesn't change day to day so after two days in a row it won't feel attractive to the palad.

Beds were TOO soft and elevator didn't work sometimes. Also, hot water is not kept warm. It goes warm toward room temperature.

stayed in this hotel on our way from Big Sur to SFO. All we wanted is a quick check-in and check out, comfy and a breakfast. The hotel exceeded our expectation: - very spacious room - you can open a window in the room! Normally, in the hotels the windows are sealed. Here we enjoyed sleeping without an aircon. Please note that will work only if your room faces the pool - there are some nice smelling flowers in the yard around the pool so the air coming to the room is quite fragrant - good variety for breakfast. Better than at the pictures - nice teas and coffee available round the clock at the dining area

Bathtub and water pressure fabulous. Great view of poop with palm tree. Extremely comfortable beds, perfect after a week of traveling and a long trip. Gave me late checkout nice as I was tired and arrived at 12 15am.

Lifted up washcloth and 1 inch black hair was there. Small curly head hair under mirror on back of sink counter. HIrdryer nice and strong, in a silk bag. Container soaps on shower wall but no more body wash. Breakfast is only till 10am and I needed it till 11am so I could sleep in. Front door to hallway has space under it; a criminal could run a wire under it and un lock the door. Male towel guy knocked at 11 30 am despite me having the Do Not Disturb sign on door.

Hotel was an incredible value! We needed a place to stay to be near family and the Grand Hotel was the perfect location. We couldn't believe that such a nice place was a similar price to a much lower grade hotel. It was a very comfortable, large room and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We'll definitely be staying here again when we are back in town. Extra props for a breakfast that was a little bit different each day too.

Some black tea at breakfast would have been nice.

When I arrived at the hotel to check in, I wasn't aware of the $100 deposit I was to put down for the room, I didn't have enough on my card and it was declined so I wasn't able to get a room! Jasmine the lady at the front desk said she refunded my money back to the booking and I had to call them to get it handled after Mr called the customer service number 4 times until used the hotel phone and then finally spoke to someone at booking where then I explained to them my situation and they said they were going to contact the hotel and put me on hold while they called and spoke to the gentlemen that were also working at the front desk! They had gotten off the phone with the hotel and then never came back on hold to speak with me from booking .com I stayed on phone for 15 min until I gave up and hung up with them, this was very unprofessional on booking .com! I felt like they didn't help and I was going to stay on the street because I didn't have enough money on my card to stay anywhere else! Jasmine and the other gentlemen went out of their way to help me and the manager they had called to ask if they were able to help me out with the fees and wave them so tired could have a place to sleep and not be on the street! The manager approved it and I was able to get my room for the night! If only there were more people like these two employees in the world, thank you again and the staff at crown plaza hotel for going over and beyond to help me out, I'm gravelly appreciative and will always remember your kind staff! 🙏👍🙂💯

There was nothing I didn't like about Croen Plaza Hotel, l didn't like how booking.com treated me and how unprofessional they treated my situation!

The customer service was excellent, I had stayed there the prior weekend as well, and had stayed in the new building. After talking to the front desk and checking in, I asked if I was able to stay in the same building and he accommodated my request! He was very genuine and respectful, awesome customer service! He also let me know with the breakfast voucher you able to request an egg omelette. Which was new to my knowledge. I travel to San Jose quite frequently. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the new building and everything was just super great! Very clean, large room, comfortable beds, large bathroom.. amazing. The breakfast wasn't super delicious, but considering American standards, it was OK. Staff was super polite and helpful. All that at super reasonable price!

The AC heating in the room did not work. No matter what you did with the controller, it only blown dead-cold air. The corridors were actually much warmer than our room so even considered to keep the doors opened :-( ... luckily, I had my girlfriend with me so we could heat up each other :-) I still give 10/10, I trust the AC will be fixed.

This was our family's 2nd visit this year and we will go back. Very large room! Windows open! Bath with tub, shower and 2 sinks! Quiet! Amazing breakfast. Unexpected happy hour with great bar tender. A few snacks. Vary clean and everyone soo friendly. A winner!

Housekeeping was ok but could be improved. Did not check for needed extra rolls of toilet paper, fold the extra blanket or replace wine glasses, very few hand towers. When requested, towels and TP were given immediately. Courteous. Perhaps just a bit more attention to detail is necessary.
