The hotel was cute and had a great view! It was very close to lots of restaurants and super convenient to the ferry! The front desk people were all amazing and very helpful with any questions that we had. They gave us good tips!

The hotel could use some cosmetic updating. But overall it was really great. The valets were a little weird. One told me that I couldn’t park in the front of the building to pick up my luggage from the front desk where it was being stored for me . He told me he would have to get a manager to approve that. It’s was my luggage, there was literally no alternative place to park and it was going to be for less than 5 minutes. And he did go get a manager and she was a little snippy about it too. It was weird!

The hotel staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

We went to the restaurant for breakfast. The waitress was horrible. She was slow to wait on us and never returned to refill our coffee. After asking for a refill she brought me a “to go” cup??? Which I shared with my husband because she never offered to refill his cup. (My husband saw her on her cell phone when he passed by the kitchen.) We always tip our waitress, but for the first time ever, we did not leave a tip. 😞

The staff was very friendly and felt genuine. Very helpful and great with suggestions about places to eat nearby! Very clean and quiet. Beds and pillows were one of the best👌 incredible rest. Great location, we got to visit great places at no more than 10-15 mins away. All of our itinerary destinations we close, like the zoo and the stadium. Parking was very close and accessible. I would absolutely return on my next trip!!!

The only thing I didn't like was the train nearby, it was a bit annoying at times, but nothing intolerable.

The location was great, easy to get to the festival from a short cab ride. There were a lot of cool bars around the area as well. There was also a cool farmers market right on the boardwalk on Sunday. Our patio was awesome as well.

The bar is not a traditional "Hotel Bar", it was only open until 2pm. The AC in our room also didn't work. The train can be a bit noisy , but they have great soundproofed sliding doors

Location was great. 4th floor maid, Monica, is terrific Early checking was easy "Cafe" was good

When the front desk ran our card they actually tried to run it 6 times which triggered a decline...duh. my credit card company asked me to verify the first one and then reactivated it. Restaurant was not open much. Breakfast was good but probably because of staffing it was slow.

view was beautiful staff was extremely helpful and kind beds and pillows were comfortable room was very clean and had a fridge, lockbox, coffee, etc it was conveniently nearby OKJ Amtrak and Ferry

rooms could do with better lighting, but there were plenty of lamps to supplement that. restaurant closes a bit early & not much is open nearby so on days we ran late & were unprepared we had to skip dinner.

The cleanliness and the waterfront views! The beds were very comfy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area - Jack London Square - had beautiful waterfront views, many restaurants to choose from, and great people watching! Would definitely stay again and recommend!

Was surprised by the need to valet (and costs) for parking and the "on property" restaurant was near / adjacent to the property, but NOT accessible from inside the hotel (and no room service, which was expected from an on property restaurant).

Location is lovely pleasant right on the waterfront. The views from the room is just gorgeous. The staff is very accessible, and efficient. The room that we occupied was comfortable for the 2 of us plus a large dog. and we occupied the room for a month.

The restaurant and coffee shops were both outside of the hotel. Considering that I was not go out of doors, it was a bit inconvenient to access.

The property was close to a lot of good eating restaurant and the ferry to go to San Fran was right next to it and not expensive for a round trip day there

There was not night life for younger people everything closed early but I am come form LA where everything is open later

Good location for visiting Oakland and San Francisco

When we checked into the hotel, there was a $75 per day charge for the minibar. There was nothing in the minibar and no way that a person could use $75 per day. This was an exorbitant charge and unjustified since the hotel had my credit card information. Although the charge was taken off after we departed, this was not fair to surprise us with this charge at check in time.
