The staff are amazing and the studio was new,clean and very comfortable. Worked from there for the week, internet reliable and comfortable chair and desk.

The marketplace lacked choice for people with allergies and the bar closes pretty early so would be good if you could buy wine at the marketplace. Location is surrounded by areas that are not so safe - I came in at 9.30pm on a Saturday, asked about local convenience stores because of the lack of choice at the marketplace and the front desk said it’s not a safe area to walk to the convenience store.

I like that this was a very clean place, new and has everything for a long stay if you are two people.

If you book thru booking.com even if I am platinum for life at Marriott, they treat you differently than if you book through Marriott directly. Also, they have distinction among the 2 hotels, AC and Residence Inn. They told me at the front desk, Residence inn does not get free bottles of water.

1. Rooms are modern, new and very clean. 2. Well-equipped kitchenette. 3. Excellent gym which everyone could use freely. 4. Good location, easy access with the boat or metro to San Francisco. 5. Nice view from the window.

1. Breakfast could have had some fresh things such as tomatoes, cucumbers etc. However, it offered yogurth, healthy muesli, several drink options.

The breakfast was good. And I love the 12 noon checkout. About time someone has done the right thing. I will definitely be coming back.

The price of course. And the deposit. Grown people should not have to pay a deposit. That’s for youngsters. I did it when I was younger. I shouldn’t have to do it when I’m in my 60’s…..

The location was great. We came to Oakland to watch a couple of concerts at The Fox Theater and were able to walk to and from the venue. The room was very clean and well-appointed, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

This might sound silly but I really didn't like the automatic air freshener that sprays in the elevator....

There was a nice breakfast selection. The egg whites and turkey sausage were delicious. I also liked the variety of cereal items. The breakfast staff was excellent!

The waffles were very crunchy and difficult to cut into pieces. There was no almond milk available one morning.

I loved the comfortable King Studio room; loved the easy access to room and convenience to Jack London Square.

Did not have the breakfast; there was no restaurant in the facility. No indoor swimming pool; would have liked an earlier check in time ( maybe 1:00pm)

It was all good. We had a large room with a pull out couch and kitchen. Super nice, comfortable, and clean.

The overnight parking. Ouch!!
