JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa

Room was spacious and clean. Hotel staff was very accomodating

At check-in we were told our package included a free "in-room" breakfast but the room service staff knew nothing about the program and said "we do not participate" and were charged for breakfast the first day. I later talked to the front desk and confirmed we were entitled to the in-room breakfast. They reversed the charges. We called room service and again were told they know nothing about a free breakfast. After explaining what we were told by the front desk I got a call back from the room service manager who said they would provide the breakfast that day. This situation was extremely aggravating and put a damper on the entire stay. Communications between the hotel and room service severely lacking. I might try a different hotel next time.

I liked the hotel because it was clean and beautiful

I don’t like that at check in they didn’t have my room I booked available. They told me I need to wait to get a room with a view . They offered me a room that has a lake view with a little discount . We came with traffic and the kids were tired and needed a room so I agreed to take that room mind you it’s already 5pm and we have little time to spend at the hotel until sleep time . We got to our room and no joke my view was the parking lot I have a picture of it if you need it !! I am very disappointed they did this . I really chose this hotel specifically for that pool and lake view .

Nehemiah was our first impression at the checkin he made me and my wife feel important on our first trip to this property. It was our anniversary and I couldn't be happier with the room he gave us. Also set up a private boat tour for us. Very nice , professional young man. Very refreshing. I would also like to acknowledge that all staff was great there. In recent travels that has not always been the case. So very happy with this place. I had to take time to write this review.

Oliver at the front desk made sure my family and I were well taken care of. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we had everything we needed/wanted our entire stay. He took hotel hospitality to another level! I really enjoyed my stay and will be back soon. I have already referred a friend who booked for the following week. David from bag check is also very sweet and I really enjoyed my interactions with him.

Everything was perfect. We really enjoyed our stay.

I loved the pool. I liked the easy walk from my room to the conference room facilities. I liked the parking garage, I felt my car was safe. I also liked the free water available, it helped in 100 plus degree weather. the customer service agents were super friendly.

The fitness center is difficult to find. It was disappointing that the Springs pool that was right outside my room was closed all week. Also I didn't find out about the mini golf until the last day of my visit and then it closed at 5pm, disappointing. Also, the retail shops were mostly closed all week. That is very sad and takes away from the experience.

I have been a member of the Marriott since 1990 in 91 stay at this facility maybe 10 times wish the bathroom had worked other than that great. I would recommend the JW Marriott to anyone it is a very beautiful location and we'll be going back again in a couple of months hope the shower works

Didn't like the fact that the shower did not work they said they was going to send someone up to fix it they never did so never did so other than that everything else was perfect except it was extremely hot outside but that's Palm Springs for you.

We enjoyed all the fun the resort had to offer. Staff was amazing

The room was dirty. The baseboards have not been dusted in months, lights, back border, tissues holders all have severe dust which covid virus can live on for up to 30 days. The rest room smelled of a dirty rag used to clean with. The floors had hair and dust all over as if housekeepers did not sweep ETC..

The location, accommodations, breakfast and staff

The room was not as clean as I expected. I requested to clean the room. After that the room was still not cleaned. no one relaxed or washed the glasses. They left room with no vacuuming. The window was not cleaned. Also there was nothing in the fridge. I expected at least a bottle of water or soda. Nothing

Beautiful grounds with plenty of parking and activities

A little pricey ($300/night) for a regular middle of the week reservation on a non-event weekend.

Grand place. The resort felt like a resort. The hotel and the grounds were impressive. You can do as much as you want or as little, either way it's all there. My wife and wanted to get away and relax and we certainly did. While there we looked around at some of the other resorts that we were considering, but we are glad we made the choice to stay here. Seemed like a class above !
