Marriott's Desert Springs Villas I

This was a stopover for us coming from Vegas and going to LA. It was scorching hot outside, so were glad to move into a nicely conditioned bungalow with perfect amenities. We saw nice pools and golf courses and there is a Starbucks store opposite the reception.

Wifi logins did not work without a special access code which we had to pick up at reception The EV charging provided by GE does not work if you don't have a North American provider's SIM card/phone :( (Switzerland is definitely 'geo-blocked' as if they wouldn't expect tourists to rent EVs in America)

We stayed in a one bedroom villa and the room was fantastic. Very spacious, clean and nicely appointed. The new washing machine and separate dryer was a bonus. The bed and pillows were awesome and the a/c handled the heat with ease. Enjoying breakfast on the private verandah, watching the golfers coming past, was a treat. We didnt visit any of the resort restaurants, pools, etc but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We didn't appreciate when booking (from looking on Google maps) how far out of Palm Springs this resort (and every other resort) is located - its an approx 25-30 min drive. You would most likely only be staying here if you had a car so its no big deal and worth it for the comfort, peace and quiet the well appointed resort provides.

I liked how the resort was so inviting. I like the location. I liked the FD staff.

We took our 3 kids and stayed in a 2 bedroom villa. It was upgraded and beautiful right on the golf course. We had a baby and the pack and play was in great shape and our other 2 kids had their own queen beds which they loved so much. The kitchen came with things in case you would spend a couple of days their. Had all the household items you would need in the kitchen.

The stay was simply amazing from cleanliness of the rooms, the quietness around the resort, to having everything possible needed to cook up some food! The BBQ grills on the outside near each room was something unheard of! That was awesome as well! I will definitely come back to enjoy my vacations here again!

The only thing I probably didn't like was the coffee station set up in the rooms. I think it could be a bit better.

We were at Mariott Villas at the end of our National Parks road trip to get some rest. Everything was really ok. Apartment was comfortable, had everything we needed. Pools were ok, although the small west pool needed some cleaning.

Restaurants - not to many, it would be nice to have something more in the villas area.

SHOWER HEAD WAS TOO HIGH - NEED A SPRAYER NOZZLE HELD BY HAND NEEDS MORE HAND BARS IN THE SHOWER OR A PLASTIC STOOL THE ROOM WAS SUPPOSED TO BE "ACCESSIBLE" FOR ELDERLY OR DISABLED

hair of previous guests in the shower, no body wash available (only shampoo & conditioner and a bar of soap), we were told we could use the pool in the sister hotel next door, but at arrival there we were told we could only use it during workdays.

The room was very small and cramped. We were without various items that Marriott usually has (shower cap, robe, tv channel guide). I would go again and get a bigger room. This room was without even a comfortable chair to sit upon.
