Courtyard San Diego Central

Everyone was extremely attentive and attuned to our happiness and comfort. The pool area is a great place to relax and get some gentle exercise. The dinner we had was superb. Among the excellent staff, Eventy stood out as an exceptionally gracious and humane person. I hope you know what a gem you have in her. She goes beyond politeness and efficiency to really care for people.

The staff is absolutely incredible. Everyone we encountered in our 4 days was helpful, friendly, kind, and professional . The staff is what stands out at this hotel. The location is also great. Other than Legoland, we drove no more than a few miles to every activity. The location felt very safe as well. The pool was great, clean, and spacious. The breakfast buffet looked yummy. We opted to buy breakfast sandwiches at the local Target and heat them up in the lobby microwave for an easy grab and go. Fillipes, less than a mile away, is a great place to pick up a pizza after a long day.

We wish breakfast was included.

The locations was great, quick and easy access to everywhere. The pool is great for large groups. The rooms are nice and clean.

The rooms doesn't have USB chargers, this is a must in a hotel room, lobby, everywhere. Also there is no food during the day in the hotel. We went to a Water Polo tournament and we had games early in the morning and in the end of the evening, so we went back to the hotel to rest and eat, but the hotel restaurant was closed. We have to order from the near restaurants. No big deal, but it will be nice have an option at hotel.

The bed was very hard. The pillow was just clumps of stuffing. Was very noisy, and I was woken up at 4:30 in the morning by activities in the other room, and was unable to return to sleep due to noise. Also, I’m handicapped and I was directed to an elevator that was not in service and had to walk a long way to another elevator.

The hotel itself was nice, clean, and the staff were very friendly. I would probably consider this hotel again but preferably not on a soccer tournament weekend.

I wish they would have warned us that there was a soccer tournament that weekend and everyone attending would be at that hotel. We couldn’t really enjoy the bar area as there were tons of children in soccer uniforms/practice clothes and their families (in soccer shirts) literally everywhere taking up the entire lobby/bar area and fire pit. There was no where to sit and if there was, it was too noisy anyway. It almost felt like Disneyland. It seemed like if that event wasn’t taking place that weekend, it would have been much more quite and enjoyable.

Rooms very clean.

$14/night parking! No where on booking does it mention this, rip off. A/c does not stay on, 15 degrees hotter over what’s set. No option for fan only. Our room faced south and it was hot! Construction around, heavy equip starts 6:30am, even Easter Sunday.

I loved this hotel , celebrated for my boyfriend’s birthday for a last minute celebration and wow was this the best experience. Nice room , great pool/hotub, nice scenary, quiet place for so relaxation. Great resturaunts nearby , breakfast options at the hotel or if you dont Dennys resturaunt is 2 min away . Also the staff was absolutely amazing and generous. Grace helped with every planning to make it a special birthday. They also exempted $$ cost for not being able to do certain things we talked about (room details) which was completely okay . Ill definitely come back again . I love my stay .

I visited friends that live in the condo complex (nearly) next door, so having parking and walking access to them was critical! Location really works for my purposes.

I would love if parking could be something awarded for frequent customers. Maybe one out of every 5 stays gets free parking? Otherwise I have no complaints.

The staff from front desk to support staff was always kind, friendly and welcoming. The common areas of the facility were clean and had a warm environment.

Service could have been better. Our room was never cleaned and we where not informed it would not be cleaned. Cleaning staff came to ask if they could clean our room 10 minutes before we checked out. We requested a clean set of towels, shampoo and conditioner on separate occasions but we never received anything.

Room was very clean and staff was very courteous. They tried to accommodated my request for a handicap room that will sleep 3. Overall it was a nice stay. I would stay again.

Room was small. No microwave in the room. Fridge only stays on for 2 hours at a time. There was no hot water on our second night. I guess everyone in the hotel took a shower at the same time and so I got a cold shower. I personally did not like the mattress as it was VERY firm. Housekeeping stripped the room before we had even checked out. I usually take my luggage down and come back to check the room to make sure I haven't forgotten anything and they had already been in and took all the linens and towels. I was gone for 5 minutes.
