l Liked the bar area and restaurant.

The second set of employees at check-in were just plain rude and immediately tried to turn the problem onto me. The first person I asked about checking in looked at my reservation and said there would be no problem for my daughter to check-in when she arrived as the room had already been paid for. The second pair wouldn't let her register and she had to call me to come down. It just got worse after that. The girl was surly and the manager wasn't any better. I just got the feeling that they were going to show me they were in charge and I had no right to question their policies. I was happy when I got there and furious when I left.

It is the perfect location to watch the action on the bay. (Saw the Nimitz return!) Next up in excellence, the bed and pillows. Brought my own pillow and for the first time did not use it! (Just purchased one!) The staff was very responsive and friendly.

There was no room service which is a "must" for breakfast. Bathroom supplies were tiny. Given the price of the room, these items should be more substantial. I did ask for more and got them but the overall impression is "cheap". Bathroom itself could use some paint touchups and some non-slip material in the tub for safety.

this Hilton hotel is a little on the older side and did not even provide good quantity of bathroom supplies for the outrageously high price per night

Room was a good size and the balcony view was wonderful. There was a proper shower, not a shower over bath (hate showers over bath tubs). The lighting in the bathroom was great. Housekeeping were prompt and even rang to confirm it was ok to deliver towels since we had do-not-disturb sign up.

The parking fee of $35 per night is outrageous. For the price of a room it should be included. The parking spaces are small and overall parking is terrible and needs to be free for at least 1 car per room and there need to be larger spaces.

it’s beautiful and except for the grumpy man at the front desk that checked me in, the staff was wonderful, accommodating and friendly.

originally, I was assigned a room that was completely blocked by the building in front of it and was next to the bank of several elevators…. Room 219. or 213, I think. I was paying $2,200 for a 6 night stay. when I complained, the initial response included a comment about me having booked the room through a third party(Booking.com) I said I’d be checking out, but was offered another room, with a discounted up charge. the next room, was completely lovely.

I liked being on the Water and watching the Navy and Commercial vessels cruise by the channel and go out to sea. I swam everyday in the pool. Our last evening, we ate in the hotel and enjoyed a cozy table by the fireplace and watched the sunset. Nice.

We arrived Late and no food available. We didn't like no micro in the room. Staff gave us a menu to order from a place in downtown and it took 3 hours for that delivery and came very late at night. Missing the sodas.

Prime location for short trips to Balboa park, Seaport Village, downtown Gaslamp district and Old Town to name a few. The view of the harbor is breathtaking day or night. Park directly across the street for leisurely strolls along the harbor. Marina on site for rental of jet skis and harbor cruises. The North Naval Air Station is visible across the harbor and was interesting to watch the USN ships and helicopters maneuver through the harbor and air space day and night. Point Loma and Cabrillo Park are worth the short trip to visit for incredible views of all of San Diego. The history of San Diego and its discovery and subsequent lighthouse at Cabrillo Park visitor center are a must see.

Parking fee of $25/night was an unexpected charge. Booking.com didn’t mention the parking charges for this property. No amenities were available for guests. Despite signage of a $250 charge for smoking on the balconies, guests were actively smoking cannabis and the strong oder permeated the air. Other than guests reporting other guests I’m not sure how this is enforced by the hotel staff? Room furniture was outdated including popcorn ceilings and could use upgrades and renovation. Was challenging to communicate with the housekeeping staff as they only speak Spanish (unless you are fluent in Spanish).

Nice room, comfy bed.

View was of a roof. Parking charge was $35. Awfully high given room cost. Also, getting out of lot was a problem after turning in keys at desk. They should have said something. Ended up waiting like 10 minutes for someone to come out to open gate and was late for an appointment as a result. Also, I am an Honors member but they never asked and got no upgrades.

Awesome spot. Great views. Gave 9/10 because the balcony furniture was a little messed up. otherwise it was an excellent stay comfy bed quiet location. Didnt try the food but it seemed pretty decent. Check in was smooth. 25 a night to park on site. Would recommend.

The Balcony furniture was a little tears in it but it was ok.
