Good location

The parking rates should be reduced. The hotel is showing its age. The room is showing its age. The mattress is not very comfortable

Upon arrival Kelly at the front desk was super helpful in getting us a shuttle from the airport and helped us out with any questions or issues that we had. The location was a great family spot, we could walk to several shops, eateries and felt safe around the property. We enjoyed the hot breakfast and coffee each morning (fruit, waffles, eggs, sausage, toast). The room was fully stocked with utensils and dishes in the kitchen area. Outdoor propane grills were also available, just ask the front desk for bbq utensils. This place was basically a home away from home.

The bed was a little uncomfortable, the place was very clean.

My family absolutely loved this hotel. Perfect for family. The room was very clean and cozy, the beds are extremely comfortable, we all slept like babies. The hotel amenities are thee best we’ve ever had at any other hotel. The breakfast that is included in your stay was delicious and the kids and I loved making our waffles, I also liked that they change up the menu everyday. They also offer complimentary drinks and snacks or soup and salad during the week, I most def enjoyed my complimentary sangria and beer while the kids enjoyed their lemonade and snacks or soup. The patio area is charming and very clean with an amazing view, and the pool area the kids loved. The pool is not freezing and I believe is temperature controlled. Bottom line is…… we are planning to come back. So if you’re looking for a good stay give this hotel a go.

Great location, great staff. We were there 6 nights. We had a beautiful view as well. The Wednesday Happy hour was a nice touch. Kids and husband enjoyed the breakfast every morning. We loved being able to ride our bikes to liberty station for dinner, and the staff was super accommodating with storing them for us.

I did expect to see some homeless in the area, but, was a bit surprised at how many were around. We also had one of our bikes stolen at Balboa Park. The cable lock had been cut. If you bring bikes, be sure to invest in the metal U hook locks…..and take your helmets with you, too, instead of leaving them with your bikes. Obviously, this was no fault of the hotel, what so ever. Just a word to the wise. We enjoyed Homewood Suites

The staff was great. The breakfast was very good. Paying 19.00 for parking when I was charged basically over 300.00 for a room that is worth about 200.00 if that, was not so cool. As far as location, its just like anywhere else as long as you have a rental car the location is great. The pool is small but not so many people were using it so we basically had it to ourselves. They said they will be renovating soon which it needs badly. So in a nutshell the staff made a place that normally would get maybe 6 stars 8 stars. If you renovate the rooms, depending on the extent of the renovation you will be around 9 stars and would deserve it as long as you keep the people you have working for you.

This is our favorite place to stay when traveling to San Diego to see family. It's easy for getting around the city and to/from airport. We love the location of Liberty Station because we can walk so many locations and the hotel is right beside a great walking path. The rooms are comfortable and provide with all the basics. The pool and patio area is a great space for relaxing after a long day. The hotel's breakfast changes daily which is nice so it doesn't get redundant if you stay multiple days.

It's a bummer to pay $19/day to park but coming from Europe, it's the norm.

The staff were accommodating and friendly. The rooms were quiet even though it was by the airport. The location had access to the water and park, as well as restaurants within walking distance.

Nice hotel. Clean and comfortable. Front desk girl rude when checking in. Would have liked the opportunity to choose room area. No view in loud walkway area. Did leave an item in hotel on check out. Appreciated the honesty that they found and retrieved it for my daughter to go back and pick up

See above comment. Also could assist a bit more with local attractions. Asked front girl if there was a concierge she looked very confused. I said someone that could possibly Seth up a large shuttle can for us to get to a wedding at the courthouse. She suggested a sales person🤷 don't think she understood the word. Concierge..
