Riverleaf Inn Mission Valley

My family and I had unexpected things happen and ended up needing to stay in hotels for a week! we came here before bcuz their prices are always reasonable…but let me tell you guys every single staff we interacted with were so kind and helpful! they truly made things happen for us to be able to stay here without changing rooms or having to leave due to rooms being sold out during the weekend! I don’t think they understand how grateful we are for all the Accommodations and effort that came from them at a rough time like this ! we are forever thankful!!! Ringgold family ❤️

Check-in and check-out process were great as the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The parking was sufficient, and if you follow the directions with the hotel key card, you will not encounter problems.

Housekeeping did not come by since checking in. Our shower door did not close all the way, and there was no handle on the inside to close the door. We had wet floors. The bathroom sink faucet was a little loose, and it would not tighten. I had to figure out how much to turn it to stop the water from dripping.

The employeeeees 💓 the lady who checked me in was super funny made me feel so comfortable usually I don’t like going in to talk to the front desk when checking in bc they make you so uncomfortable but I felt so safe with her we had a few laughs! It was Halloween night I wish I knew her name. And also we called the front desk saying we might have to stay a little longer n they gave us an hour with no charge! But we ended up leaving on time anyways I really appreciated that!

Nothing to dislike

The price paid for the stay we had ! & Location central to most everything we needed to access ! Last was the recent interior & exterior update with a fresh & welcoming feeling!

I can’t say that I really disliked anything ! If anything the need for a couple more handicap parking spaces near the building!? That would be my only dislike.

extremely nice and professional staff, very impressed with cleanliness of the rooms and how comfortable our bed/ mattress was. saw at least 4 housemates cleaning and disinfecting rooms. Our queen bed room was very spacious, the shower room is incredibly clean and upgraded to nice tiles. Lots of free parking, most of it very well lit. The location is convenient, and plenty of outdoor near by space to walk our dog on and off leash. Beddings and towels were clean. The only down side was somewhat noice from the near by freeway, and some random/ homeless people cruising or hanging out outside, but not as bad as other parts of San Diego. No microwave in the room, and outdated / a bit bead up furniture but overall a real gem for the price ! Rooms are extremely clean and comfortable, spacious. Communal microwave and W/D outside by the elevator. Flat screen TV, iron board and iron in the room, but no blow drawer. Overall very satisfied. seriously one of the best people work there!

good room. that's it. staff was kool as heck though the gate system was perfect.

1. 'desk' was too narrow and the chair too short. 2. There was NO MICROWAVE! 3. Not enough towels 4. parking on the corner by the little league should not be parking because of the narrow space to get into and out of parking on the U-Haul side of the building. 5. The tv selection was mostly 'no signal' notices. 6. Wi-Fi was glacially slow. 7. only enough of the coffee for one cup and some how it was never on the cleaners cart. 8. Washing machines, the few that they have, were out of service.

The staff are family oriented Were very kind + beyond helpful

They have to give written reciepts for payment As they charge a 20% security that turned up As fraud on my credit card freezing my accounts. It especially messed up my debit card at a small Community bank in Santa Barbara CA They froze my card + shut it down Leaving me cashless till the new debit card Arrives next week

It's just nice to feel a lil like ur close to the wilderness cause of all the trees there along the river. Then old historic old town n the mission up on the hill. U don't feel like it in the middle of the city .. think that's what I like bout it. Location .. n a cutie lil hostess ..

Man if u could start a lil breakfast there in the morn u all would sale ott everyday

It was a good decent size. Comfortable to sleep on. Quiet. Easy to check in and check out. The staff were very friendly. I would come here again.

The bath towels were small. I would probably bring my Own bath towels next time. There was only 1 Washer and 1 dryer but it was always being used so had to wash my clothes somewhere else.

Cheapest price in hotel circle. Front desk guy was very professional and nice. Bed was very comfortable. Some covered parking is available. Aside from the outside sketchiness, the place was quiet and comfortable, we didn't hear any outside noise. Full of dining and shopping options nearby in a short drive, I don't recommend walking. You get what you pay for.

To get to the hotel, it takes you through a back road, very dark at night since there's no lighting. There were a few smokers and homeless people outside. The stairs smelled like pee, and there were bottles of ketchup, mustard and hot dog bread outside in the parking lot floor next to cars. Rooms are very outdated, still has popcorn ceiling. The shower water would randomly change temperature, from very cold to scalding hot, we had to be very careful. Not many dining options in walking distance.
