Safely located in a quiet, suburban area of sanfo. Close to Chester street with lots of great restaurants. Just a skip away from one of our favourite national parks, The Presidio. Also walking distance to one of the loveliest garden staircases in the city, the Lyon stairs, and Palace of Fine Arts. Good vantage point to the Golden Gate Bridge. Free parking is also a good thing =). One of our favourite hotels in the city. Rooms are very clean.

No microwave to heat up leftovers and the brekky selection when we were there seemed a little sparse compared to during COVID times. All good otherwise =)

Perfect location when visiting SF. Seems a very safe area where you can easily walk at night. It is next to Marina or Union Street for restaurants and bars (walkable distance or short bus ride). Several bus stops next to the hotel that brings you to the different areas of the city. The price for SF was really good.

Heating system really noisy and not efficient. Cannot be kept on for more than 5-10 mins. Bathroom was not getting heated properly (due to the fact that it was impossible to leave on the heating in the main room) thus towels remained wet. Towels were not very clean. We changed them on a daily basis, but still you could see they were old.

We stay here many, many times throughout the year because the motel is always clean, the staff is wonderful, the room is comfortable, they provide breakfast, there is parking and they allow dogs....can't ask much more than that!

The king size bed is super comfy, but it takes up the whole room. Also would love a microwave, but since the room is kind of small, it would be difficult to find a spot for it.

Very friendly and helpful staff, above average breakfast (good coffee and orange juice, yoghurt, decent bread, oatmeal, eggs). Great location. Good beds. Free parking.

Could not open window in bathroom, which made it very moist all the time. Furniture was a bit smelly, so we did not put our clothes in the drawers. Ceiling not very soundproofed, so we usually woke up when the people upstairs started walking around.

The location was brilliant, very close to the No 45 bus stop to the city. Raymond, on reception, mapped out the bus and cable system, such a great help. Close drive to the bridge and golden gate park. Nice breakfast if you can get a table as only have 3 in the breakfast room. You can take a tray to your room if not.

Small room with no view. The fridge was so close to the bed you could only open it about 3 inches.

Girl at the front desk check-in was helpful all around especially reassuring us about street parking availability. Great location in a quiet neighborhood.

Lady serving breakfast items was coughing and clearly not feeling well.

We love staying at this particular TravelLodge as the staff is always incredibly kind and helpful. We have stayed here at least 5 times and have yet to be disappointed. The parking is on site (and free), the Presidio for walking one's dog is a block away, the rooms are dog friendly, and the price is right - especially for San Francisco. Every time I post a review I worry that too many people will see it and we won't get a room when we want one!

The king size bedroom is pretty tight to maneuver in and I wish there was a small microwave, but it is nothing compared to the all the other fine points of this motel.

close to the presidio,on site parking, although it was tight parking our cargo van in there, close to restaurants and facilities but still quiet.

The room represents value for money in terms of what you get compared to other hotels of a similar price, but with the addition of the breakfast this represents very good value for money. It’s a continental breakfast but there is a good selection of breads juices hot drinks yoghurt and a verity of spreadables for your toast.

Nothing negative to say.

I stay here quite often and am always happy with the accommodations. The room is clean, the bed is super comfy, the staff are always friendly, the parking is a bug plus and there is even a decent breakfast!!.

Wish there was a microwave in the room…otherwise everything is great.
