The beautiful lagoon and waterfall were wonderful to see every morning. My kids loved the ducks and turtles! They loved feeding them each day. I love that the property was clean , quiet and well managed. I loved that we were given the option to have a 1 or 2nd story room. When we arrived at 1:30pm we were greeted by a friendly staff member and told our room was ready! We had driven 5 hrs and were thrilled it was ready for us even though check in was at 4pm. Our room had lots of places to pug in phones etc.. and reading lights on either side of the bed.

Towels at the pool ran out on our 3rd day and weren’t refilled until someone went to tell the staff but, that’s very minor. The mini fridge in our room made a louder than normal humming noise but ear plugs helped a lot. The air conditioner was very old and also a bit noisy but still worked very well.

Very nice room to eat our breakfast. The attendant kept refilling the food and helped the folks with the pancake maker ☺️

The staff was super helpful and nice upon check in, and all throughout the stay as well. Just by simply staying I saw on the paper with the map all the deals we could ask for discount cards for local activities and dining, we went kayaking for 25% off! Continental breakfast was nice. I really loved the big lagoon type addition there are little stations where you can get food to feed the fish turtles and ducks in the lagoons it was super cute.

The only 2 things i can think or which were so minor and did not affect my trip whatsoever, but i found quite a few hairs on the shower curtain, so maybe making sure those are washed or cleaned more thoroughly. And then it would have been really cool if we were told about the discount pass opportunities on the paper. The only reason i noticed them is because we wanted to go to the lagoon and I was looking at the map and happened to flip it over. Otherwise I doubt i would have picked up that paper for anything.

Wonderful property with lagoon in center (ducks, grey herring, and turtles!). I had balcony room overlooking the pool and the lagoon and it was worth the upgrade. Room was remodeled. Very simple layout with large comfortable king bed. Refrig and microwave in room for convenience. The swimming pool had the best temperature I have experienced in any pool. Very relaxing. This property is several miles inland from SB harbor activities/coast, but freeway is one left turn away. It is perfect location for going to Mission or botanical garden. This is 3rd time I have been here and will go here every time I want to visit Santa Barbara, as it has such a charm to it.

Of course some breakfast is better than nothing, but basically the selection for breakfast is some loaf bread, a banana or apple, or self serve mini pancakes that are paper thin. Still, it's a good reason to wake up early (served from 6-9:30) so you don't have to make coffee in your room

Very nice ponds and enjoyed feeding the hotel ducks and koi. Excellent coffee and good breakfast in general. Room was spacious feeling due to the high vaulted ceiling The air conditioning was excellent and view of the ponds was really relaxing.

Initial odor of cleaning products. Very little counter space in bathroom. Facilities are clearly quite dated but well maintained and ultimately of no concern to us. Below average value for the money

We were greeted by very friendly reception staff and got into our room a bit earlier than the 4 p.m. check in time (every staff member we encountered during our stay was friendly and helpful). We had a ground floor room that looked out onto the lagoon and the pool. The lagoon creates a nice ambiance, as do the ducks. My kids were enchanted every time the ducks strolled by our room. The afternoon chocolate chip cookies are absolutely delicious. The pool was great, and the handle on the entrance gate is very high up, which makes it hard for little ones to let themselves in. The continental breakfast was standard fare but my kids absolutely loved the automatic pancake machine and watching their pancakes get cooked as they moved along a conveyor belt. The hotel is right next to the 101, and directly across the street from a Starbucks (which is great as the hotel coffee was not great, IMO). It's very easy and convenient to drive to any of the sights and experiences you might want to enjoy on your vacation. The hotel also offers discount coupons to many attractions and restaurants. The bathroom is pretty small, but it's about what you might expect and it was clean. I was never able to get the wifi to work on any of my devices, despite everything I tried. But I didn't call the help line they make available, I just hot-spotted my phone. All in all, we had a great experience there and I would definitely stay there again.

What a spacious room for a family with 3 small boys like us! Love the area in the veranda where the kids can run around too. Both living room and bedroom areas have access to the veranda. Breakfast also had great options and coffees were great. The room was also really clean. I love it when we can walk around barefoot and not worry if our feet are going to look like we came from a dirt yard.

I grew up in SB and know if I am going to stay in SB it is going to be expensive. I've actually stayed in this location before and was very disappointed - I had called the front desk numerous times trying to get some extra towels because I was having a procedure at the VA outpatient clinic and needed them - never got them. SO on other trips I stayed away from your Ramada. HOWEVER I wanted to give it another chance and since I had to fly out of SB to Denver early in the morning I needed to stay at this location because it is very close to the freeways to the airport. The lady that checked me in was extremely nice and friendly and we chatted a bit and showed me how to get to the room. The room was very comfortable and I loved the pillows and the next morning as I check out I told the same lady I wanted to steal those pillows and we both laughed and I assured her I hadn't; she wished me a pleasant trip and I left to find my plane. I would not hesitate to stay in your Ramada again in the future.

I can't think of anything I didn't like about the stay. HOWEVER after I made the reservation online I kept getting emails asking me to reply to them about something. The only thing I think I said while making the reservation is that it asked what time I would be arriving and I said between 2 and 3 and check-in time was 4. It was confusing and and when I got there at 2:30 I got checked right in. Those emails were so unnecessary.

Service, cleanliness of room, attentiveness of staff, local discount coupons for our large family, free transportation to the airport ( a huge +)

Breakfast was skimpy, and dining hall opened late one morning. Cot sheets were dirty upon arrival and needed to be changed.

nice pool. little pond with coi, ducks and a blue heron (kids loved it…duck feeder was awesome). 2nd floor room had a vaulted ceiling…quite a nice room. it felt clean and new which was nice

vending machines didn’t have water; price was high…would’ve like a little bit more variety at breakfast at this price point
