It’s a well-kept Inn. It has a bit dated decor (e.g. bathroom had 70s brown tile but it was really well-kept and clean). Beds were comfortable. Nice views of pool area. They’re in the process of renovating the hotel. The construction work (on one side of the hotel was closed off to the public) was out of sight (and ears) so it didn’t bother us. Our hotel room overlooked the communal pool / grassy area, which was an inviting area, where many families hang out with their kids. Very convenient location with many restaurants options walking distance. Jeannine bakery has a location nearby the hotel, and is a great place for breakfast/brunch/lunch. La Cumbre Plaza Shopping Mall and Target is across the hotel.

Not much. We thought it was a great value hotel for Santa Barbara. The price quality ratio for the area was excellent.

That the facility had available staff on hand to answer any and all questions. The room was clean, and I appreciated that. Parking was available, that was nice. I always enjoy coffee in the front lobby and bottled water was made available, that was a nice surprise.

The "breakfast food" was all processed food. Nothing I would eat .... The air conditioner was really loud, as were most of them, which made relaxing a bit stressful with these noisy units. There clearly was not enough shampoo and conditioner, maybe get bigger samples for customers, for what Best Western charged me. You would have thought I would have a robe and slippers and some nice bath products. Not a tiny shampoo with not enough to wash my hair. Really.....

The room was nice and clean. The beds were very comfortable. A mall with good restaurants was across the street. The man who checked us in was very nice and friendly. Nice shower. They had a nice selection of 'to go' breakfast items and the area was very clean.

The air conditioner/heater was on the wall right next to one of the queen beds and at the level of the bed. So with it on, it was pretty noisy. No area to eat breakfast. The hot water tasted like coffee. This happens a lot because places use the same container for coffee and then use it for hot water.

Staff, despite having a mishap with our reservations, we really appreciate the friendliness and hospitality of the staff! Victoria was so patient and kind with helping us resolve the issue with our reservation and also Oscar who was so friendly and welcoming during our stay. They both have been so accommodating and helpful.

Large green grass area!! Pool and Jacuzzi were clean and in great running condition. The property had gorgeous flowers and plants.. Plenty of outdoor seating!!!! Great snacks and availability of drinks and more. Even though the furnishings in the rooms show a little bit of age we LOVED it. The office staff were helpful and super accommodating…

The hotel was really nice. We enjoyed the pool and staff were very helpful. Most importantly it was clean. honestly would stay here again.

I just think the pillows weren’t comfortable. But thats all.

some of the property looks like it's being remodeled. breakfast was just some grab and go stuff. not worth it but they had hot coffee and hot chocolate.

Breakfast OK though good have more comfortable furniture. Also, I don’t like machine coffee especially when it takes so little effort to brew.

Lock system needs to be updated. Had to make two trips to office for replacement keys. Finally changed rooms

All of that said, immediate remedies (except for the beds, of course) we're managed, extra towels, pillows, tp. The desk clerks were quick, knowledgeable and informative (even the brand new employee). Local referrals were great and we had a great time. This location has amazing potential. Please lift your quality and care so that your reviews and referrals move to stellar.

The room either hadn't been used in a long while or consistently wasn't cleaned properly: heavy layer of dust, used q-tip and bottle caps on the floor inside and out. The beds are seriously too soft.

It was clean. The guy that met us when we checked in was very nice and helpful. The lady that checked us out was very nice, also.

It was a little far from the beach. It was expensive.
