HoJo was where to stay back in the day and now that it's a Wyndham property, I thought we would give it a try. The property is pretty old with newer cosmetic updates in the room like a backlit mirror and comfortable beds. The location was amazing, we had an ocean view and were able to easily walk to the wharf. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and we were able to park right outside the door to our room.

The layout of the room was odd and there was no place to sit and relax, other than on a bed, and the fridge was in a bedroom rather than in a common area. The continental breakfast was primarily bread items, it would have been nice to have some kind of protein options. With that said, we came to go to the boardwalk and sleep, and we were able to do both of those things easily.

The location of the hotel was perfect walking distance to the beach/wharf and also a small convenient store.The view from our room was perfect relaxation when coming back and putting our feet up.

There were just two things I didn’t like about my room.First,the bed was so uncomfortable.I could feel the springs through the mattress.Second,the lighting was way too bright.It doesn’t allow you to light the room partially.Either full blast or none at all.

The general manager Celeste was very helpful when I had an emergency with my daughter. Very understanding an relatable. Check in was quick an easy. Easy walk to the board walk.

Need to up date the mattress. You could feel the springs. An there was no soap for hands washing in bathroom. But I always carry my own. Gps led me to the wrong side of building. This little gem of a property should have a huge sign right at the round about, not at the bridge side.

Manager Celeste is absolutely amazing. She has been instrumental in assisting the renovations under the new management. She was friendly from Day 1! Also goes the extra mile for guests; it is obvious she puts her heart into & enjoys her job! David & the other staff are also GREAT. VERY refreshing!!

They had some worn out mattresses... but actually got new ones!

The 2 Queen bed room was nice. Had a great view. No problems wirh parking. Staff was nice and friendly.

The 1 bedroom queen was advertised as a deluxe room. It was not bad but was NOT deluxe it was very small. Hotel was clean but the pictures of it online were very deceptive. We only spent one night so it wasn't a problem but I would not stay there for more than an overnight stay.

Location, ambiance, STAFF, amenities (great fridge, microwave, shower!), VIEW, laundry, breakfast, cute little pool/jacuzzi!!

Really not much not to like. They in process of upgrades to mattresses, fixtures, etc. Some are worn but CLEAN & functional. So doesn't bother me!

Love it. We did the Ironman. The location is fantastic. It was so convenient that made us without stress. We walk everywhere. Good restaurants within walking distance. We have a nice view from the balcony.

The big trees in the parking lot messed up the cars during the short rain.

The location was excellent for our needs. The balcony was nice in that it was covered and private on both sides from other guests. The room was reasonably large. We enjoyed the breakfast room and the waffle maker that was available along with the other breakfast items.

The carpet was ripped. Our key only worked when it wanted to so we had to go to the office several times for help.

Evrything,friedlyness staff,promp cleaning of room and resupply,cleanliness of room,ample easy parking,perfect location to walk to westside,boardwalk,whatf and downtown,ample free breakfast all fresh boiled eggs,waffles toast and jelly,cereal fresh milk,activia yogurt several flavors and fresh coffee.lot of rooms with view of bay and wharf.

Having to leave so soon.

We liked the view, the big and comfortable bed and the little terrace facing the ocean. The host was also very nice, she gave us a room upgrade for free.

Unfortunately the wifi wasn’t working in our room and in the terrace. We could only use it if standing by the door room.
