Close to the boardwalk. It smelled amazing inside! We had a great balcony view.

Having to pay for parking in the basement, I think it should be included with the stay.

Close proximity to the beach, exploration center, and boardwalk. Beds were comfy and rooms were nice. Having a refrigerator, microwave and Kerig in the room were so convenient. The younger employees that checked us in were so kind and accommodating. They were great, they called us when our room was ready early and really made us feel welcome. Breakfast was awesome. So many options to choose from and filling for a long fun day. The staff at breakfast was quick to replace things that ran out and kept the breakfast area clean and tidy.

We found a few ants in the restroom, is was a little odd but no big deal. There was an older white female employee that was extremely rude working in the morning at the front desk. The interaction when asking about a sign advertising the roaring camp train was extremely rude. I didn’t even bother asking for more information.

The room was a good size, clean and furnishes seemed newer. Big plus, it was very quiet

Didn’t like laying extra for parking and the shower water pressure was weak

Ended up getting upgraded to a double room with a sofa bed and balcony with a distant view of the water, which was awesome. Hotel was brand new and super clean (and I’m picky when it comes to hotels), staff was great and friendly, continental breakfast was excellent, with tons of variety (cereal, bagels, belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, coffee, etc). Parking was convenient and felt secure, although cost extra. Great location, a few minutes walk from the wharf, boardwalk and beach.

Parking was extra, at $20/night, which I may have missed in the description, and the parking garage was tight on space, but well worth it.

King suite was very roomy, clean and comfortable

The TV was disappointing..... Who uses cable these days??? Even streaming was impossible... Next, they charged us 20 bucks a day for parking, even in off season. This was not noted to us from booking. Com....at booking.com this hotel came up when we did a search for hotels with free parking.... So we were forced to pay an extra 80 dollars..... 🙁

Room was clean and large, modern. Location was amazing. Front desk staff was wonderful.

Walls thin, neighbor was so loud I could hear their conversation through the wall. Kept me up late. When getting ready to leave a male cleaning staff member wanted to get the jump on cleaning my room. He saw me leaving to take my stuff to my car and tried to enter my room even though I was not done and my family was still in there. I scolded him for that.

I missed the bus that connected to the last Caltrain bullet train back to SF so I just decided to stay the night in SC and go home the next day. The hotel was SO beautiful and so exceptionally clean (I'm a germ-a-phobe, so cleanliness is everything to me) and the staff is SO kind and accommodating that I stayed an extra night just to relax and enjoy everything, especially the heated pool and nice upper lounging deck! I usually use Airbnb, but I will definitely come back here instead next time I'm in SC. THANK YOU staff at La Quinta, really appreciate everything!

There is nothing that could have been better, this place is AWESOME

The breakfast was delicious, I was happy that it wasn't pre-packaged sandwiches. Coffee was delicious. Staff had everything ready. I loved that a light was on for my late arrival so that I could see and not stumble around for a light switch upon entering my room. I loved what seemed like weighted blanket I slept comfortably! I loved the fact that parking was secure -- no worries about my vehicle.

The breakfast team couldn’t have made you feel more uncomfortable at breakfast. I should have guessed when one had to remove her ear pods to answer a question. They were really miserable and unhappy about people getting breakfast stuff - so different from the reception team. I’d recommend they get a job they enjoy 😂

It was great to stay walking distance to the Boardwalk and a short driving distance to downtown. My kids loved the modern design. The beds were comfortable and the shower was fantastic. According to my step-daughter, the eggs at breakfast were amazing.

Although our room was very nice, it was also empty feeling. It would be nice if a couch was added to make the room feel more cohesive and less vacuous.
