The room was big and appeared to have been updated not long ago. I arrived early and was tired from the long drive. The front desk person allowed me to occupy the room and rest. She was friendly and professional. The bathroom appeared to have been updated recently also, I requested a down-stairs room and the request was full-filled.

That I could have stayed longer and used the pool. I was working at a nearby night club and returned pretty late. I left early the next morning to avoid traffic.

The man who checked us in was so kind! When we first arrived the neighborhood looked a little shady, but the parking lot had security cameras and our car was just fine all night. The room was clean but smelled a lot like alcohol (the isopropyl kind) so we aired it out, but otherwise the AC worked, the shower was hot, and the toilet flushed properly. Beds were comfy, towels were soft, fridge was cold. Our TV didn't work but the HDMI did so we hooked up our computer for a movie and our room was nice and quiet all night. Little breakfast box to go, and a fabulous hike just 2 miles away - bonus! It was pricey but what isn't these days, and I'd definitely stay again.

The alcohol smell was awful! Luckily it went away quickly. Just be prepared for the local rubbish organizer in the parking - he looks scary but he kept to himself.

The rooms are fine, the TVs are large, and the pool is lovely. Surprisingly quiet room given that the hotel is right on Ventura Boulevard. Plenty of parking. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Kind and helpful front desk staff. This was our 3rd stay here and we will definitely be back. This was our 3rd stay at Tarzana Inn and we will be back again. We had an unexpected situation come up during our stay and needed extra time for checkout and the staff was exceptionally kind and accommodating.

The boxed breakfast is a little heavy on sweets. Not great for me, but my husband loved it!

This was my fourth or fifth time staying here. It is the best hotel in the San Fernando Valley. It is in a good location, the staff is friendly, the rooms are cozy, the Wi-Fi worked well, the AC and heater worked well, all for a good price too.

I don’t like the stairs and when the hotel is completely booked, sometimes you have to park on the side street. Those aren’t reasons to stay somewhere else though.

stayed only one night, so not a lot of input. Check in attendant was very nice and accommodating, made it very easy. Rooms were very clean and lot options for meals close to hotel, so that was good. Enjoyed our stay even if it was for one night.

Microwave in rooms would have been nice.

I liked how it was close to many things like food, retail, and freeways! Also I loved the walk in shower! To me, that was the best part!

The area at night, there was a few people hanging around outside late that made me feel a bit uncomfortable, thankfully it was two peaceful nights!

Clean and modern room and facility. Friendly and competent staff. Good size, good resolution TV with many channels available. Safe parking area with plenty of spaces.

Breakfast. They were just breakfast boxes with orange juice, breakfast protein bar and pack of cookies. I prefer a more substantial breakfast.

The shower was new and very modern, I requested a downstairs room and was provided with it, the staff members were friendly, and the lobby was very clean

The ice machine sounded like it was outside my door and made noise all night. The room had a King size bed and there wasn't much room for anything else.

I was happy that the room was clean and had all amenities. My only complaint is price, but I understand that prices for everything is high right now. So, really it's not a complaint about your hotel, just frustrated on overall economy at the moment. Thank you. We will most likely stay here again. We will be coming back once a month this year for a sports event, so see you next month!

Nice and very clean rooms. Super friendly and very kind and helpful staff. Great location with good food nearby. A very nice service are the breakfast boxes. The whole place is very well maintained. THANK YOU for making our stay so pleasant!
