Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Vacaville, an IHG Hotel

easy to find. clean. had all the amenities I needed. The wifi was particularly easy to log in. It employed just a unique five-letter code per guest instead of name and room number. lots of places to plug in devices to charge them.

it took me a while to discover there are TWO shades with pull chains. one shade is translucent , the other is opaque. i needed the opaque one at three in the morning and it took me a while to find it. No complaints, though. I just didn’t occur to me to look for a shade instead of draperies.

The beds are comfortable, (I slept well, and I'm a light sleeper) hotel was clean, room was quiet. I'm a hotel snob, so for me to give a good rating, well, it is pretty rare. (I have left hotels that I had paid for and gone elsewhere when I could not sleep there! Yes, it's that bad) I have to have top floor, they accommodated me. I have to have a clean room and hopefully an accommodating staff, that was given. It is also affordable...which is sometimes lower on my lists of must-haves when staying away from home. I prefer comfort, quiet, clean, friendliness and convenience over price. So, the affordability was an added bonus. It's not a new hotel, but it checks all the pertinent boxes, (clean-check, quiet-check, comfortable-check, friendly-check) so that's all that really counts. Can you get a good nights sleep? Absolutely. Does the room have everything you need, yes. Is it new without structural cracks and without a funky shower head that sprays in all directions...no. BUT these are very minor set backs and the shower stream was robust, hot and did the job! I did not try out the breakfast, or the very cool "Happy Hour" with free wine, beer and snacks they offer from 5 to 7, so I can't comment on that, but I thought that was truly amazing they offer these perks, especially in this time of high costs. I will definitely stay here again, as I have family in the vicinity. As a matter of fact, I have declared it my go-to hotel when visiting the fam from now on. Good job Holiday Inn! Please don't change for the worse as some hotels do. Keep giving the great service and you'll have a customer for life.

I was in town to enter my pet cockroaches in the international C R. Beauty contest.The staff was very accommodating and even allowed me to demonstrate some of the talents my pets have. As it happend, my favorite Cockroach little Michelle won first prize. In talent, beauty and skills. Thanks holiday Inn! You brought good fortune to me and my little star.

Everything perfect

The weekend i was booked, the hotel was giving free stuff😊 Also, the receptionist "Bee" was very welcoming, great attitude & helpful. Her interaction with guests was so vibrant.

Had an incident with my room but "Bee" handled the situation right away and the next day the hotel manager apologized and. Gave me an accommodation for future use.

Beautiful modern rooms, friendly staff, nice breakfast, nice area with restaurants and shopping. Comfortable bedding. Clean rooms and building

We loved everything! The only issue is there is no steam venting in bathroom and so it gets very steamy, sauna like with door closed and no vent ( at least in our room) the water pressure is great however the shower head is very powerful , it can hurt your face. The advantage to it , the shower gets done fast. Loved this hotel Highly recommend

Everyone from the Front Desk staff, Michelle, the Hotel Manager, (she goes above and beyond, is highly supportive of her staff, and very personable with ALL GUESTS), the kitchen staff, and the housekeeping staff are amazing. Unexpectedly had need to stay for extended period and we have never been so pleased with a hotel stay.

Breakfast was great. Location was perfect because it was close to the Kaiser hospital where my husband was having major surgery. They were very helpful because I wasnt sure how long I needed to stay. All the staff was very friendly and helpful in what was a stressful situation for me. Thank you for a great stay.

The location of his property is close to the freeway and quiet enough from the noise. The staff hear were very courteous and the breakfast was good.

One of the beds the sheets didn’t looked changed as there were stains and slept on top of the cover. And the carpet was dirty as my feet needed cleaning after walking around before sleeping.

Room is big and clean, good Wi-Fi signal and big TV with a lot of channels. The breakfast is delicious with enough options. The location is good, close to highway, premium outlets, Walmart etc. The price is very good if you book earlier.

I heard the sound of shower and faucet water flowing from nearby rooms. I can hear walking around noise from upstairs guest.Sound isolation isn’t good in this hotel. Breakfast hope more fruit options.

breakfast was outstanding, with lots of good choices and variety. Hospitality of 24/7 tea and coffee, with complementary "happy hour" was a nice gesture

coffee was horrible. Elevator was "wonky". Worse than Holiday Inn Express Dubai and much more expensive.
