The staff was always very nice and very helpful. The price that we paid for out stay was great and our room was huge and beautiful.

We had an issue with our room key not working a few times and had to go down to get it fixed which was kind of annoying but it finally worked after that. They said it could have been the new system which was understandable. The other issue was our rooms water pressure was terrible. If you wanted a bath start your water about an hour before you want to get in because it was going to take that long to fill it up. Lastly they were doing renovations so how you got on and off the elevator changed depending on time of day. In the morning you would have to go behind the scenes. But other then that we would definitely stay there again just not when they are renovating.

The staff was wonderful, from the front desk to the front door helpers. The room was beautifully finished and the bedding very comfortable. The front desk sent champagne and a card to our room to celebrate our anniversary. The decor and ambiance of the hotel was excellent.

The lobby area was partially under construction, and no coffee was available in the morning. There were very few options available nearby (walkable) for breakfast, and the restaurant was not open for breakfast. We understand this was temporary and will be remedied.once construction is complete.

Loved the newly remodeled room. Very nice! There was construction on our floor, but they were far enough away we never heard anything. The construction people were very nice also. The front desk attendants were very courteous and helpful. I had an issue with a movie I had purchased in the room, and the matter was resolved immediately. We had dinner at the Cajun restaurant at the hotel, and our meals were delicious! The bartender was friendly and attentive. A little pricey, but the service and quality of the food made it worth it. I would highly recommend using the valet service. It's very convenient, and he had our car waiting for us at checkout.

we traveled to Colorado Springs from California for a procedure which would have cost us 3-fold back at home. we wanted a beautiful room that was cozy to relax in yet elegant for an experience, (and with as little noise and stress as possible so my wife could recover from her surgery) ... everything went perfect, from the staff accomodations, to the very friendly valet service, to the comfort and beauty of our room, and the ease of access to dining in the near proximity.

This is not their fault... because renovations are always messy, but the hallways were scattered with debris due to construction. I didn't discount this from my rating... it is what it is. I can't wait to re-visit and see how the remodeling turns out!

This luxury hotel is undergoing extensive renovations and that is the only reason I have not marked it as excellent in all categories. The staff were very friendly and helpful and Emma on the front desk was outstanding in her friendliness and efficiency. I loved the room and decor. So beautiful and tasteful. The restaurant ‘ Spring Orleans’ was fantastic and great Cajun food and helpful staff. I even treated myself to a spa experience- very nice.

Only the inconvenience of the renovations.

Love the modern look of the hotel, it was clean, the staff were friendly & helpful, love that water was complementary, appreciated they sent someone up to our room to help us open a bottle of wine with the manual opener they, also, provided us as complementary, location was great.

I did not like the check-out - I was charged the full price of the night stay even after I told the gentleman at check-in that my friend & I would be splitting the cost. I’ve stayed in many hotels & was surprised that this hotel didn’t wait until I arrived to check-out yo ask if the credit card on hold or used to reserve the room would be used to pay for the night stay. Had they done this, they would have known to charge my CC & my friend’s CC. I was told to settle the split amount of the stay with my friend as the room was already processed on my CC. Another thing I didn’t like was the food at the restaurant (entree). I was t impressed by the quality. The dessert (beignets) were good, but typical. My only 2 disappointments at this hotel.

I booked a room for my son and his wife on their wedding night. I called in advance to ask about wedding night amenities and was given several options. My son advised that when they checked in, the staff was genuinely welcoming and congratulated them. the room was beautifully arranged with rose pedals and a bottle of champagne. They were given a beautiful room. I cannot thank the staff enough for making the end of their special day even better.

The staff was super nice. The restaurant attached was perfect for us - best Manhattan ever! the room was also nice - was a bonus that there were some premium channels (SHO) that were part of the channel offering on the TV. Was very quiet for sleeping

one of the shower heads was broken and there were two shower gels in the shower and no shampoo (one of the gels should have been shampoo). Also parking was OK. Valet was great but a little price ($46 a night) while the self parking was a block away - which was fine just not perfect.

We love the location it’s right downtown with access to everything.

The renovations have been going on for about a year now…pictures are down on from the wall on the rooms….no irons in the room….no microwaves available they were all sold per the staff….the room was freezing cold and could not be regulated the first night…they had to move us to another room.

The receptionist and the bar tender gave me lots of info and suggested places to visited on the trip. The hotel is rich in history which the front desk enthusiastically told me about. The rooms are beautiful and the bathrooms are spa like. The spa was a little over priced personally but that may be the norm in this area. The spa treatments were first class all the way which made up for the price.

I wish the website had a video detailing the rich history so guest could have knowledge before arrival and maybe a map to give guests so they don’t have to wonder around aimlessly looking for the beautiful vintage vault doors.
