It was cozy and comfortable. I liked how close it was to downtown, so not a hassle to go get food. They also had a restaurant bar attached, which was nice to get a quick drink and head back to the room. The staff was nice and kept helping me with the things I needed in a timely manner.

I didn't like that when I checked in I wasn't notified on the fact that there was a parking fee. I was told about all the amenities, the times for breakfast and dinner at the restaurant, and the potential cleaning fee, so I would have assumed I would've been told about the parking fee at that time. I was told once I checked out and it would've been nice to know ahead of time.

The place was clean. I thought it was funny how you had to keep a card in the holder on the wall to keep the lights on. It had water in the lobby with orange or lemon slices in it. The restaurant attached was called Burger Theory and their food was pretty good. The lobby staff are very kind and helpful. I'd stay again.

There was 1 of 2 elevators that was out of order. That seems simple but it made it inconvenient because of how long I took to call the elevator.

Hazel was an amazing host. Give her a raise.

My vehicle key fell thru the elevator door opening and fell somewhere.. no maintenance person was available to help me find my key or provide any option to retrieve it. I had to pay 225 dollars to get a key to get my vehicle on the road. I had my 2 grandkids with me. And after that all I was unfairly charged another day of reservations when I left before my extended checkout time.

We wish we had the time to stay more than one night as we enjoyed this hotel so much. It was so nice to see Dove soap bars in the bathroom. For people like me who have chemical allergies, it was nice to be able to wash my hands without having to grab my own soap from my luggage. We would recommend this to anyone traveling in the area. Dog friendly hotel that actually means they are dog friendly. Lots of grassy areas, trails, even a short walk from a dog park. We will stay here again when in Durango.

I'm from Albuquerque and have been to Durango many times, I have stayed at a bunch of the hotels around the area but this one was definitely one to remember. When we checked in we were greeted by Donna at the front desk who was extremely friendly and actually made an effort to get to know us in the quick interaction of checking in. She asked if we had been to Durango before, my girlfriend hadn't. She immediately recommended that we go to Durango Hot Springs and gave us a 10% off coupon. Then she seamlessly pitched the IHG app an really sold me on downloading it. She was not pushy at all! She answered my other questions about brunch at a different location told us the pool is open until midnight breakfast was in the restaurant in the morning and sent us on our way. That interaction made me want to stay there on our next trip to Durango! Thank you Donna!

The mattress was not comfortable at all.

This was one of the biggest and nicest hotel rooms we have stayed in! For no additional cost, we got a (fake) fireplace with the king room. The hotel is very new and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were exceptional. We were within walking distance to downtown and the train station. I would absolutely stay here again.

There was nothing we didn't like!

The location was nice, set away from the loud, main road. The room was huge! With a fireplace. That was cool. We will probably stay here again when we travel between Montrose and Santa Fe.

The gentleman at check-in (Ian, I think) was CRAZY overworked--there were seven or eight people waiting to check in. Another girl who was there when we walked in, disappeared. A manager came out to check on Ian and he, too, disappeared while a lot of folks waited a long time to check in.

did not think the no breakfast, unless you paid in the restaurant, would bother us but it did. just wanted a glass of milk and a yogurt without paying for a full meal. may seem simple but we travel with ice packs and drug in room did not have a small freezer compartment like others. elevators were broken and we were on the 4th floor.

It was clean. They have refreshing water, cookies sometimes. The room was clean. The pool was nice.

Some of the staff was not friendly. I think of In making coffee staff should wait for tall customers. I also said sorry and waited the guy didn't say anything and just kept making his drink. They only have breakfast you can buy it the restaurant. The lady is friendly, but they might miss your order up and might not have everything on the menu. Ice machines on ill floors do not work.

the reason we booked was that it was the most reasonable cost and comfortable for that price for the time frame we were there.

nothing except that there was no continental breakfast. the price they charged for a buffet they should have had more options for food choices. some hotels have a much better selection for a free continental breakfast than this one had for a fee of $10.
