Good location to the steam train attraction and easy access to town. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast, happy hour and little amenities made it for a more pleasant stay.

Rooms seemed stuffy and the air conditioner was extremely loud and hard to regulate making sleeping difficult. Drains to sink and toilet were quite slow. Windows opened but there was no screen so didn't want to open for any period of time. Parking and entrance was a bit tight to navigate but manageable.

We were staying in Durango in order to ride the steam train the next day. The hotel was in a perfect location to catch the train the next morning. The room was large and it was clean.... There was a freak wind storm blow through the night we arrived and power went out to the entire downtown area, including our hotel for about an hour.... Luckily emergency lighting in the halls and the electronic door locks still worked. Power came back on and the room cooled down nicely. Breakfast was available with a good selection of hot items and also a happy hour, which we didn't make in time. Hotel has an indoor pool with rooms facing the pool on all three floors.

The parking lot is very small, spaces are tight and you have to park quite a way from the entrance. We felt the prices charged were extremely high for the chain, but it is a tourist town, so we expected that.

We visited Durango specifically to ride the train to Silverton. This was an excellent location because we could walk to the train station. Loved the Happy Hour, although we could only get drinks 2 of the 4 days we were there, would be nice if it were open a little later.

We had a room right by the pool. The rooms had double doors, maybe for easier wheelchair access. I wasn't a fan of the windowed doors because the shades never really blocked the light from the pool area from coming in.

That the staff was very helpful with my particular situation, having contracted food poisoning from an outside facility, they have been very helpful with helping me arrange an extended stay so that I will be able to do the skiing that I came here to do.

That I have had to spend more time in the room than planned because of the food poisoning that was not the fault of the hotel. The room was comfortable but not where one wants to not leave for 4 days straight. The morning breakfast was helpful. A little bit more desk size for today's information technology.

Jessica at the front desk was such a joy to work with. She was most accommodating and had a most enduring personality. Her husband Brandon who worked in the breakfast area displayed a great work ethic and was constantly making sure all food areas were stocked and ready for your customers, Can not say enough positive comments about this couple. Also, the breakfast was over the top and totally unreal.

The staff at the front seat was very helpful and nice. They have great bar, they offer 2 free drinks. Bed were comfy and room was clean. Includes breakfast and breakfast was really good and hot and stocked if a food was getting low. Great location, kinda in the corner and away from traffic. Walking distance to bars and restaurants.

location was fantastic and the pool/hot tub area was fun. happy hour was a bonus. excellent breakfast. welcoming front staff. water refill station was a nice touch.

heating system was not self evident and we had to ask for help. it got clarified quickly and they noted that a lot of people have had the same issues. small thing, but…one of the breakfast staff had a constant and persistent cough. not the sound you like to hear.

Bottom floor level was great. Breakfast proximity, quality and choices were excellent. Room was ok. Staff was great. Very clean and tidy. The front desk staff was very informative and friendly, as well as the cleaning people.

Pool was great but being in the courtyard it was a bit dark. Loved it regardless. The kids played in the pool and we used the hot tub several times.

Front desk- excellent customer service. Accommodated our request. Happy hour was fun and tasteful. Room was clean. Gym is very functional.

Breakfast was not to our liking. Just seemed very rushed and not much attention paid to it. There was no spray oil for the waffles and batter kept sticking to the waffle maker.

The location next to the Durango and Silverton railway. Being able to leave our bags at reception whilst we took the train journey to Cascade Canyon. Good parking. Lots of choice for breakfast.

The room was outside the main building by the stairs so it was incredibly dark and footsteps can be heard pounding the steps outside. No USB socket. Paper cups.
