Location is excellent. After checking in, we walked to Durango Main Street. Kids were happy that full breakfast included a waffle maker. Front desk gave us ear plugs for sleep, a doggie treat bag, and a bed spread to put on top of the bed for our mini pincher. An extra $30 daily fee for pet stay, was not bad, on top of the $300/night stay. Kids were excited to see the train station rail yard next to the parking lot.

Parking lot was a bit dirty and racoons were rummaging through the trash, so trash was on sidewalk. Walls were thin, could hear neighbor coughing, but we were so tired, it didn't matter.

The staff hands down makes this place phenomenal. Very helpful with everything even going above and beyond when we had a car battery problem. Additionally the rooms were clean and while we didn't do happy hr ourselves because we had plans downtown, we did notice others partaking in the drinks and live music. Breakfast was really nice - lots of options including Cereal, pastries, yogurt, oatmeal and hot options of eggs, bacon, potatoes and a waffle station.

When booking online, you don't get to select between indoor or outdoor rooms. While you can still access the outdoor rooms through the inside elevator, it's a little more cumberson especially if you have a lot of stuff like we did since we were skiing in nearby Purgatory. If mobility is an issue, make sure to inquire about a room inside.

The staff were super helpful. We were having car troubles and had to book it at the last minute; they let us check in early to drop all our stuff off before taking the car to a mechanic. The free hot breakfast and happy hour drinks were a nice little bonus too! The location is very close to the downtown, you can walk to everything!

There was someone staying above us that was stomping around early in the morning. The AC/heater was a little loud, but they provided earplugs in the bathrooms amenities.

The breakfast was excellent, the inside pool was great for winter, the free happy hour at night was a real bonus, as was the coffee al day. Perfect place to meet for family reunion. I would give all of this a 10 out of 10.

The only reason I rated the property an 8 was even though almost everything was ideal and wonderful the cleaning was terrible. Walked in to the room with a trash can full of other peoples trash. The entire week we were there our bathroom was gross even though they supposedly cleaned it. Cleaning was a 1. The hot tub was nice but also not clean. Please work on cleaning your place better because this truly is a prefect place for a large family reunion with kids especially.

Really appreciated the warm coffee drinks available all day long. Our king bed room with sofa sleeper was very roomy. Free breakfast offered lots of delicious options. Free drinks every evening was a super nice treat. Hotel is walking distance to the Silverton Train Station and many shops and restaurants.

Our room faced the indoor atrium where pool & spa are located on the first floor. The open area was extremely noisy from 9am to 9pm every single day with adults & children screaming, talking, jumping in pool. It would have been nice if the front desk had warned us of the noise level before assigning our room. Maybe the rooms facing outwards are quieter. There is no staff on duty managing the pool area and we never enjoyed the spa due to too much chaos. This place is perfect for traveling families; but not for 2 people wanting to have any type of quiet or romantic time.

Good location to the steam train attraction and easy access to town. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast, happy hour and little amenities made it for a more pleasant stay.

Rooms seemed stuffy and the air conditioner was extremely loud and hard to regulate making sleeping difficult. Drains to sink and toilet were quite slow. Windows opened but there was no screen so didn't want to open for any period of time. Parking and entrance was a bit tight to navigate but manageable.

There was a pool/hot tub inside in the middle of the hotel. It's nice that it's indoor, but not very private. Our room was on the ground floor and we heard a lot of noise from the hallway. The breakfast was great, eggs, potatoes, hM, bacon, sausage and cereals and really good little pastries. Much better than a normal hotel breakfast. Also, there was a happy hour that was nice.

The breakfast was so good, hot food. They give free drinks for happy hours so we got 8 drinks for 2 nights! Pool and hot tub were great, nobody there after breakfast time. The staffs were very nice and friendly. Free cappuccino 24/7 lol (there is a coffee machine that you can pick from espresso to hot chocolate) and Water Bottle Filling Stations. The staff will give you a lists of restaurants in town. Also the hotel located near the train station and walking distance to the historical Durango.

We were staying in Durango in order to ride the steam train the next day. The hotel was in a perfect location to catch the train the next morning. The room was large and it was clean.... There was a freak wind storm blow through the night we arrived and power went out to the entire downtown area, including our hotel for about an hour.... Luckily emergency lighting in the halls and the electronic door locks still worked. Power came back on and the room cooled down nicely. Breakfast was available with a good selection of hot items and also a happy hour, which we didn't make in time. Hotel has an indoor pool with rooms facing the pool on all three floors.

The parking lot is very small, spaces are tight and you have to park quite a way from the entrance. We felt the prices charged were extremely high for the chain, but it is a tourist town, so we expected that.

We visited Durango specifically to ride the train to Silverton. This was an excellent location because we could walk to the train station. Loved the Happy Hour, although we could only get drinks 2 of the 4 days we were there, would be nice if it were open a little later.

We had a room right by the pool. The rooms had double doors, maybe for easier wheelchair access. I wasn't a fan of the windowed doors because the shades never really blocked the light from the pool area from coming in.
