I’ve stayed at the hotel many times over the years. It’s always a good experience. My room was big, I had a river view, on the top floor and over all, quiet. The pillows and sheets were clean and comfortable.

I don’t like that children are allowed in the bar/lounge. I was eating dinner in the lounge and a large family came in and brought 3 children. The kids ran ariund, played board games and unfortunately, disturbed the entire room. I love children but they shouldn’t be allowed in a bar setting. Maybe having a designated area for families with kids would be a good idea? Just a suggestion.

Location was the deciding factor. Disappointed with the low water level, but that’s not something you can change. The place is always comfortable and clean.

A ramp really needs to be installed in the North side. We were able to lift our suitcases but some people cannot and need a ramp closer to where they park. Also, drinks in bar are not great and cost like they should be 😊

We had a wonderful time at this Hotel. The room is spacious and the beds are comfortable . There are two restaurants on property and the food is great. It is nice having a grocery store across the parking lot. My favorite part is the walking trail behind the hotel on the River. Our room faced the river and it was wonderful to sit out in the evenings and watch for wildlife. I will definitely visit again.

Staff was nice and accommodating. They accommodated my late checkout. Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. Cleaning staff were very nice for room 220. Nice river view from balcony. Nothing to complain about! Will stay here again.

Had to wait quite a while to be seated at the hotel restaurant for lunch but the food was good. And expensive.

We did not eat breakfast. We ate in the beer garden twice and loved it. Being dog friendly was just what we wanted. The river location was great. The cookies were terrific.

The coffee maker was not cleaned out when we got there. The bathtub stopper was always closed, and when we tried to open it to shower, the faucet would push it down again.

This hotel is in a great location. We were able to walk to the Durango & Silverton Train Depot, as well as several restaurants and shops. The staff keep it very clean and comfortable, and it has a lodge feeling to it which we liked. Would definitely stay here again.

It was a great view of the river. Good location for walking to town. Close to everything. Staff was friendly and helpful. Quiet. Pool was nice. Restaurant was good and convenient at times. Really enjoyed our stay.

Price may have been a little high. Some parts of the hotel seamed dated. Our balcony was in need of a painting. I will say they did have a note saying that a contractor would be painting soon.

Didn't eat breakfast there. Liked the view from our room, but wouldn't pay as much as we did for that view again.

The property looks like it needs a make-over. Cost exceeds the value of this hotel. For the money, I would have expected at least a mini-bar in the fridge.

There was a little trouble trying to get our room our reservation with booking was not showing up in there system. The Manager was able to get us our room and said they will deal with figuring out the payment with booking themselves. We did not have to fight or pay extra to get a room. We were accommodated accordingly.

There was not we didn't like, the location was great as well as the staff.

Location right by the river - nice to have morning strolls, easy to walk to the town center where all the shops/restaurants are clustered. The hotel is beautiful and the room was comfortable.

It's a bit expensive for the value. With the hotel room rate, we think parking should be included but parking fee was extra. We ate breakfast at the restaurant. The restaurant staff were not that attentive (front desk staff was okay).
