Clean, spacious room.

Advertised as “American” breakfast, but it was a continental breakfast. I selected this property in part due to the American breakfast, whereas others advertised continental. American means I can save some money on a true breakfast (because of the typical eggs and bacon included), and Continental tends to mean (as it was here) breads, muffins, cereals, etc. The property is under renovation, so that may explain the discrepancy. Still, not ideal to pay for an American breakfast and get only continental. Note: the renovation work did not cause any other issues — no unreasonable noise or anything else. Nice staff, too!

The staff was friendly and the room including the bed was comfortable. Carpeting in the hallways and our room looked new. The complimentary breakfast was limited, but what they had was good and different from most breakfast offerings in this type of establishment. I appreciated the whole wheat English muffins, hard boiled eggs and fresh fruit. My husband appreciated the build-your-own egg sandwich (pre made egg in the size of an English muffin, cheese, sausage patty that you heat up in a microwave and then put on a freshly toasted English muffin), sweet muffins and yogurt. The sweet muffins were bigger than what you normally see, not the smallish, pre-packaged kind, and similarly, the yogurt was closer to full size, again, not the tiny ones.

The TV was a bit small.

Clean room, New like, comfy bed, Very strong AC/Heater with powerful fan and very quick to cool or heat. Nice desk for laptop or PC.

lighting could use improvement (very dim bulbs), needs more power outlets (except bath room which was extra bright), TV to low to view lying down--needs to be wall mounted up high unless you want to sit on bed to watch it's simply too low to view from bed lying down. Toilet seat ridiculously low--only 16 inches high which might be good for kids but not full size men. toilet should be 20 inches or so. Also my card wouldn't operate exterior door to allow entry (worked on room door but not access door so had to go through office). Location stinks as no place to eat within walking distance.

The location was great and it was a very clean place. The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice with great pressure.

Everywhere is posted no smoking, I'm cool with no smoking but that should include Marijuana as well. That was the first thing I smelled walking into the hallway. I am not against people whom smoke it but I however don't want to walk into an establishment and be smacked in the face with that smell unless its into a dispensary or something of that sort. I get that it's legal and what not but atleast make the people whom choose to smoke it do it outside or be billed like those of whom smoke cigarettes would be.

I was really impressed with this hotel. The staff was all super nice and very friendly. Check-in is a strict 3pm time, but they were nice about it. I was surprised at how nice the rooms were. Everything was VERY clean, even the nooks and crannies in the bathroom. Sure, one side of the curtain was getting slightly threadbare, but overall everything worked, was clean, looked nice, and was in good order. The bed was comfy if on the ofter side. The breakfast had decent-looking muffins, bagels, oatmeal, and 3 different fruits. Not a huge variety, but the quality was above par for what they did have and the ladies seemed very on top of it, never letting anything run out. They even offered fruit-infused water during the day. Overall this hotel exceeded my expectations and I feel like they should have a higher rating than what it currently is. I would definitely come back.

Maybe the beds might be considered small for average Americans, but they worked for us! Full size. Also it's minor (remember you are staying in a Super 8) but the hallways and exterior are dated looking, but once you enter your room its much more modern. Price point is high but that's just Durango. Crazy prices there in general, but if you're going cheap this is the better hotel for sure.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our stay was during the Four Corners Rally over the Labor Day weekend, so I know they were pretty stressed. But they still did a great job. They even kept the breakfast area operating longer than they were required to do to make sure their guests were accommodated, which was great. It was was well stocked and kept pretty clean, even though they were obviously very busy. Good job!

Nice comfortable bed and very nice soft pillows. Clean bathroom, toilet and tub with a sink and hair drier. I was looking for a low cost room and for the price this was nice and I would stay here again.

The TV worked well with cable tv ; although the tv could have been a bigger size. Heater a little loud makes difficult to hear tv on low volume.

It's an ordinary motel nothing outstanding. It was clean.

Our room was in the middle of the long hallway on the third floor, we were not offered the use of a luggage carrier, and had to make several trips to the car to bring in luggage,

The room was well set up and comfortable.

The security was a little lax as the back door was propped open with a rock. And people were converging outside and coming and going through the back door.

For a Super 8 I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and comfort during our stay. The floor is a bit stained and the drapes have little tears only noticeable during the day when they are closed. But the bedding, including the mattress, was exceptionally clean.
