Nice staff who were very responsive. Good sized room and was basic but also met our demands. Room was at the back and there was a lovely area to sit next to the stream. Clean room, large and comfortable. Door would not shut without a slam as it was too big. There was work going on which could have been a problem had we not been out for the day and then had it not been weekend when work halted. It seems that several of our bookings had work being carried out which we did not know about. It is alright having a sign in reception but when the booking has been made several months prior from a different country, it is hardly a warning. It did not impact on us too much through and we enjoyed our stay. No kettle which was an issue for us but this is not the motels fault as they did not say there was one. It is just something that we expect in all hotels and motels really.

Building works and no kettle or drinking making kit. Door would not close properly without a major shove. All minor things. Was a distance from the railway and town which was impossible to walk as it was way too hot. However, we found a breakfast place right of the motel about three blocks walk which was doable.

The room was as expected. It had two queens as expected and the bathroom and room were clean. The bed was a bit hard for my liking but I was kept awake by not having a decent pillow. (I meant to bring my own) The AC situation was confusing because there was a sign on the AC unit to call the desk if you need AC, but there are no phones in the room. We messed around with the thermostat and got it going finally. Simple, Clean Friendly, and well worth the low price. We liked being down the street from the night life too!

This hotel is a great deal compared to other hotels in the area. It is right on the trolley line which we needed because we just hiked the Colorado Trail and are on foot. The wifi is super fast. The water in the shower was nice and hot. The room has a fridge and microwave but no coffee maker. There is coffee in the breakfast room (which I didn’t know they had or expect them to have). The room is basic, but did the job for what we needed. And there is a pool, which you can use when it’s not raining😩 (it’s monsoon season and it hit with a vengeance this year).

There’s really nothing I didn’t like. The property is certainly dated and needs an update/paint/repairs, but it looks like they are doing that slowly.

I'm glad I got to stay at the hostel alone. There was no one else with me. Granted, I could have stayed with someone else, but the lady at the front desk helped me get a room for myself. I felt safe in the area and it was right next to the main road in Durango, so I could get my car and drive to things quickly.

The place looked a little run down and I had trouble getting hot water late at night. However, I felt generally safe and it had everything I needed, including refrigerator, stove, etc. I disliked that the main office closed late at night, and I couldn't get to the refrigerator where I wanted to put some stuff in.

The bed was very comfortable. The location to the train station. Cute lobby.

I had changed my reservation date and when I arrived, they said that the change wasn’t reflected in their system even though the change happened months prior to the trip. The employee made it seem as though they were doing me a favor for price matching and having a room available that ‘usually costs X amount’.

The room had a nice size bed and bath and refrigerator. It covered all the basics, which is what I was looking for. The motel is close to trails and the downtown and plenty of good places to eat!

If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place. If you are looking for a good place to stay near many things, this place fits the bill.

The room was clean and the water was hot. The beds were ok. The staff was friendly.

There were not enough outlets near the beds and the room was a little cramped by the round table and chairs in the room. It would have been better if they were just removed.

The staff was amazing even though our room was not ready at check in time they put us in a room that was ready. we had some special request and they were pleased to help. the location is great!

we were there for 5 days and never got our room cleaned while out and about. no big deal we were able to get what we needed from the office.

Simple and comfy. The guy who registered us was very friendly and helpful.

No elevator and I had a bad leg. It took a long time to get up the stairs. I requested a ground floor room but didn’t get it and I was there for 3 nights.

Very comfortable room temperature wise and very good location. The coffee was surprisingly better than all the restaurants in town that we tried. I also enjoyed the river running behind the property. Nice place to meditate next to clean clear running river.

Didn't like the beds, too hard. The breakfast had no protein options like eggs.
