Dear Rob, Thanks again for the fantastic stay at the Minturn Inn! Your superb hospitality, affable demeanor, and phenomenal cooking made for a very memorable stay that begs to be repeated! The whole experience is one I will treasure, including but not limited to the stories and personalities of my fellow guests both local and international, the mouthwatering restaurant scene (loved the Rocky Mountain Taco burger!), a cozy and rustic bedroom, and a supremely convenient distance to the Vail and Beaver Creek resorts! It was truly a magical time in the mountains of Colorado where every morning featured a fresh pot of coffee and ended with a nice glass of Prosecco by the fireplace in the evening! P.S. - My only criticism would be the stiffness of the mattress, but that could also be my skiing for over five hours two days in a row... Aside from that, it all worked very well for me!

Rob (makes an incredibly soulful breakfast) is the caretaker who takes his role to heart. Warm, welcoming and if you didn't know any better you'd think he owns this charming and lovely facility. The location is superb with everything you need within walking distance from your room. The history of this place is incredible and there is so much to learn from the past while you stay. Marco (owner) went so above and beyond what was required of a proprietor it is absolutely insane. Our situation was very unique and I don't want to say what he did for us (everyone will ask for the same), but his actions made our stay so much better and stress free.

Water may have been too hot if you aren't careful with handle position, but that really is more of a compliment since you can never get enough hot water.

We loved the room with fireplace, king bed and jacuzzi tub. It was spacious and comfortable. Marco was very helpful and ensured that we had an excellent experience at the Inn. The decor throughout the Inn is warm and inviting with its multiple fireplaces, antiques and comfortable furniture. The staff member responsible for breakfast had to leave on a personal matter so Marco arranged for us to have a free breakfast at the local cafe. The food there was very good as well. We felt like every effort was made to look after us well.

We had no complaints.

Breakfast was awesome and location couldn’t be beat

The front door code pad didn’t work on our second evening. We texted Rob but it was a little after 11 pm when we got back so he was understandably not seeing the text. He answered on the first ring when I subsequently called his phone. He was very helpful, but it was a frustrating to stand there in the cold in our evening wear. We did get in eventually.

I loved the freedom of the coded entry. We were able to come and go as we needed on our schedule. We're older so it was great that we were on the first floor. It was easy to maneuver our luggage through the Inn. We were in the back of the house where it was quiet and private. It was like visiting the home of a generous friend who makes everything available but isn't hovering over you. Annie, the innkeeper, was there making sure breakfast was ready and we knew what was available. She is a very light, friendly social presence. We thought it was perfect.

The location was perfect for us. It was close to restaurants, and close to the fishing shop where we were meeting our guide for a float trip on the Eagle River. Breakfast was terrific.

There was a fair amount of noisy traffic outside. There’s no air conditioning so we had to leave the windows open so the traffic noise was pretty bad. Maybe a good fan would be an option.

Cozy and comfortable rooms. Very clean and location with parking were spot on. Breakfast were European - Italian style and freshly made in house with home made palisade peaches jam and muffins and Italian sweets. I could see myself staying here for 3 days easy during winter and not do anything and just chill by one of the fireplaces and read boo or play games.

Great location within walking distance of food and shopping, and not a long drive to go skiing. Super friendly great host! We also really enjoyed the living room and dining hangout areas too.

The rooms aren't very big, but are enough to be comfortable. My husband would've liked more protein options for breakfast; the best option was a quiche that he wouldn't touch because it had spinach in it (but I enjoyed!).

We booked our stay at Minturn Inn last minute for an anniversary celebration. Annie was extremely accommodating and let us check in early. We also wanted to ride the complementary bikes but many of the tires were flat so Annie graciously offered to let us use the 2 e-bikes at no cost. We ended up finding regular bikes that had good tires but we really appreciated her offering that. Breakfast was good, we appreciated that there were many vegetarian options. We would love to return and book further in advance next time!

Wood have much preferred to have had breakfast at Minturn Inn rather tna a restarunt down the street and be able to talk with other guests.

Would have much preffered to have innkeeper present during our stay. Remote personnel just doesn't do it for us. But many thanks to Marco for finding my forgotten laptop and shipping it to us.
