Microtel Bethel/Danbury is conveniently close to I-84. The facility is overall very modern. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. Everything in our room was clean and functional. Beds were comfortable, lots of pillows. Shower had plenty of hot water. Continental breakfast was simple but adequate... coffee, juice, milk, cereal, yogurt, pound cake, bread, granola bars. Even though signs indicated that the hotel was full with no vacancies, there was plenty of parking.

Could have used some towel bars or hooks for wet towels, but that's about the only negative thing I can think to report.

The staff were professional, helpful and friendly. The rooms, and lobby were extremely clean

Good location. Easy off/on I-84. Nice staff. Very nice room. Good parking. Good breakfast. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in the immediate area. Would stay here again.

Receptionist requested a $100 fee be applied to my credit card in case of any damage to the room. Most hotels/motels require such a fee but don't actually charge the fee to your card unless warranted. In my case, a fee has never been charged; however, this property did charge the fee to my card and as of yet have not removed it from my credit card even though I do not and did not smoke in the room; had no pet in my room; or damaged the room in any way. Very concerned about this and will call Microtel when I return home. This is a first for me!

Easy parking. Very clean and spacious room. Has some restaurants pretty close by.

The free breakfast is pretty simple.

The room was nice and the bed was comfy. There’s a good amount of restaurants and shopping stores like “target, Walmart, dollar tree and supermarkets”

The free breakfast just wasn’t what I was expecting. I obviously wasn’t expecting all you can eat Hot buffet but I also wasn’t expecting just cereal, crescents and bagels. I wanted at the very least a fruit cup or waffle. Also you don’t get house keeping unless you stay 3 nights or more. My husband and I stayed 3 nights and wanted the sheets changed the second day we were there and we couldn’t get a change of sheets or more towels.

My pet was able to stay and was well kept when I had business meetings away. Veey convenient to the highway and the pet friendly atmosphere was welcomed. Enjoyable and clean stay. I will stay here again when I return to the area.

The nightly pet fee seemed excessive considering my dog is well trained and sleeps in her own bed. Quite literally, she is a neater guest than I, and required nothing for her stay there. I cleaned up behind her and there was no pet hair present when we left as she stayed in her own bed.

We arrived at Microtel and was greeted and checked in by a warm receptionist. The room was very easy to find, clean and just what we needed for a quick overnight while spending a night in Danbury. The room was well equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, iron, coffee maker and work desk, I only used the work desk but it was good to know it was loaded. Definitely recommend staying here.

Room was pretty dusty, allergies were kicking up a storm while in there.

Breakfast was enjoyable. Plenty of space to eat. Thought the wrapped breakfast bars were a good idea.

When we got to our room we realised there was no coffee making machine. We asked the lady on reception if she could help to provide us with a machine but she just gave us a sachet of coffee and was not willing to assist us any further. Couldn't find any coffee facilities available in the lobby either.

Although there were no eggs(scrambled, etc.) or bacon, the rest, like the oatmeal and such, were sufficient for me. Thank you for that.

The outside(side) door was supposed to require a room key for entrance, but the locking mechanism wasn't working and access was possible for anyone without a room key card. Would've liked a bit more security, but there were no problems with anyone entering that should not have been there.

The room was great. Nice size. Plenty of room. Liked the little kitchen area. And sitting room. Glad we were given a 1st floor room. Everything was conveniently located.

We stayed 3 nights . 1st morning our room was cleaned with all clean linens and toiletries. Day 2 we got nothing and day 3 we left. The bed was as hard as a rock. My back still hurts. Each morning there was lass and less food at breakfast. My husband ask for something and the lady ignored him. Staff was very unfriendly.
