Homestead Inn

My husband and I liked everything about the property and those who work. Comfort and Cleanliness (thank you Nancy) are 2 key factors and they came through without a doubt. They made certain that my specific needs were attended to each day! Antonio greeted us with a smile and walked us up to our room making certain we did not need anything additional, explained breakfast sign-ups and housekeeping service, where to go for dinner, and spoke in length about the Elephants Trunk Flea Market. Nicole and her assistant was extremely nice in the morning and diligently made breakfast according to my dietary needs.

I would suggest perhaps a fire pit in one of the areas outside. Not necessary though as there are 3 areas to relax in outdoors.

We loved our stay!! It was within walking distance to everything and the town is adorable. The staff was amazing. Antonio went above and beyond for us! It was a wonderful trip.

The only downfall to the stay was that we didn’t stay in the main house and our room was right on the road so it was a little noisy. Earplugs were provided though. Next time we will definitely stay in the main house and that would not be a problem at all! I would definitely recommend staying at the Homestead Inn and I would try to book in the main house if possible.

The place is lovely but I thought for the price we should have received continental breakfast. We faced the street so there was quite a bit of street noise but the room was very comfortable and clean and nice. We weren't in the main house so didn't really get to see much other than our room. Check in was very easy. And they appeared to be very Covid aware. We went to a nice bar/restaurant where we got some great pork BBQ!

It is next to a hospital so there were sirens several times in the night. There isn't enough parking space in the lot for all of the rooms. Breakfast can be had but it's $15 per person and it's a full English breakfast which not everyone wants. It was expensive but nice.

The location was convenient for our visit. The room was spacious as was the bathroom and the beds were very comfortable. The pillows were nice (appreciated the overstuffed sham pillow for when sitting up in bed). It was immaculately clean and smelled fresh. My husband said the breakfast area was also nice and the coffee was good. Toiletries were also nice (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, nice soap and makeup removal cloths. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

The location is great, just a couple of blocks from the main town green. There was no breakfast available with our room, but we walked to the Main Street which is lined with cute cafes with plenty of options. Because it was Memorial Day Weekend we also got a front-row seat to the town parade.

I was in annex Air conditioning wasn’t great The room felt a little warm and it was at max and the inn keeper checked it Sorry this is what I did not like

Liked the position close to the village green and attractions in the area. Staff were very personable. Loved the cookies and information provided by Antonio. A range of teas was available in the main house

Nothing really but a kettle in the room would have been handy, particularly in Winter weather

Very nice room--clean and comfortable.

I never saw anyone--no staff or other guests--I checked in during the afternoon, went out for a meeting and dinner, and left early the next morning. Seeing someone from management would have been nice--not essential--but nice.

Breakfast wasn’t included in the room I was in- this was fine as I had to leave early. The beds were super comfy and the room was extremely modern and clean. It was located on a road by the hospital but earplugs were provided and I had the best sleep in a very long time. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful and kind.

Nothing that I didn’t like. It was a great place and I would stay there again.

Need in insulate between rooms, we could clearly hear the people in room 2 VERY early in the morning on his phone, room 3 also heard them.
