We've stayed here a few times and like it very much.

However, we reserved what was advertised as a king bed, but it wasn't. It was a queen bed with another little bed over on the side under the roof eaves which would be dangerous for an adult. The main problem was that it was up 3 flights of steep stairs. We are 73 and 75 years old and that was difficult. Folks need to know that this is a third floor walkup and that it has low ceilings and eaves, and that it is really a queen and a single. Recommend for people under 50, possibly with one young child.

The room looked so fresh and elegant. Since there wasn't space for a coffee maker, we appreciated how you created the coffee bar in the hallway alcove for all rooms to share. Also like having lights on both sides of the bed. And the terry robes were a great bonus. And lots of towels available in the vanity drawer.

No towel racks in the bathroom. And a shelf or 2 there would have been useful for placing our ditty bags.

Very small and private. Exceptionally clean and modern. I'm looking forward to my next stay.

1. In the bathroom of room 12, I would like to see vertical grab bars on either side of the toilet. It sits a little low and they would be helpful to either a right or left handed person who may have disability issues. 2. Similarly, a vertìcle grab bar could be placed outside of the shower beside the bedroom door to provide stability stepping out of the shower. 3. On a different note, the room above room 12 apparently did not have a rug on the floor. The tenant came in about 830 at night, with hard soled shoes that were very loud on the wood floor. I did call Stephany, after 2 hours, and she contacted them and it did help.

I loved the location! Plus, the room was really cozy and clean.

The only downsides were that we could hear everything that was going on in the rooms near us, as well as outside. We were in room 10, which was right by the door, so we could always hear people coming in and out. That said, the property provided ear plugs, which was very nice! I also feel like the windows let in a lot of light (even with the blinds closed), so I woke up very early in the morning and couldn’t go back to sleep.

Great location. Very comfortable bed. Ceiling fan kept room nice and cool. Fantastic instruction on security directions to gain access to home.

Shower floor was slick...needs traction treads of some kind. When my husband went into hall to make coffee in the morning, there was only one mug available. If notified, I'm sure this would have been rectified, but we did not want to wait as we were just about ready to check out.

We enjoyed our stay at the Station Inn. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean!! The building smelled very good and fresh without the smell of a strong cleaner. The air conditioner was really good. You controlled the temperature. The location had its good and bad. Pawling does not have a whole lot to do, so the location for this place at least had a few restaurants and bakeries, a CVS and two churches all within walking distance. We felt extremely safe. The only two drawbacks was the train crossing is directly across the street. The train blows its horn each time it passes. They did provide a noise machine on the bedside table and earplugs for sleeping. There is no way around the sound of the trains horn… approximately every two hours. My husband and I just laughed each time it passed. The only other complaint is that the room was a little pricy for the amenities. We both agree if we are back in Pawling in the future, we would still consider staying here. Cleanliness , location, and a comfortable bed are the most important things to us.

The price and the noise from the train crossing were not good.

I was unaware of any breakfast that may have been offered. I did see the coffee and ice machines. I supplied my own half and half for the coffee.

I had a little confusion re: entering the code to my room, but otherwise, I truly have no complaints about this Inn and would highly recommend it.

The Station Inn was a delightful escape. Checkin could not have been easier, the room was elegant and inviting— loved the cushy robes!— and I had a beautiful view of the Main Street of the charming little town of of Pawling NY from my front window.

The Station Inn is conveniently located in the pleasant village of Pawling nice dining and pleasant vibes.

Not much to not like. A few passing trains in the night. Adds to the atmosphere.

Location and the size, very small and cozy

I'm kinda old. Bed too low. Toilet seat too low. Steps up to the property difficult to manage. Definitely not an easy stay. But I would stay again if not for the extreme high price. And no couldn't get network tv!!!
