Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bradley Airport, an IHG Hotel

Excellent homemade omelets; & plenty of other choices. Loved that food & coffee available all day. Very clean. Well staffed & all staff were pleasant, friendly; especially the woman who made breakfast & gentleman (manager?) at desk. They made it seem much more personal & welcoming. The location is handy & parking easy. Gas station & restaurants nearby, as is airport & highway. AC worked well.

Some of the carpeting ( especially elevator) could be replaced. A little bit dated sofa with a few stains. Very noisy through door/ people in hallway easily heard; luckily things quieted down at a ready hour.

Our plan was to leave our car and stay overnight on our return. The reservation person did not know the details; he hardly was understandable, couldn’t understand what I was saying or what we wanted. He couldn’t understand our reservation was for the next month. He even stated the shuttle bus would cost us $35 !! As it was—it took over a half hour to arrive; I asked three times if he called for a shuttle service! and no—it was free! …Totally unqualified to be behind a counter…. As the line of people was being longer and out the entrance, many rolled their eyes as they heard the conversation. On our return, the gentleman now behind the counter was very courteous and prompt. The stay overnight was very nice.

I didn't eat breakfast there. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The bed linens were exceptionally comfortable. The room in general was comfortable, and plenty of outlets for USB plugs as well as regular plugs.

The lady at the desk told me I didn't need directions to Bradley Airport. Although the hotel is right near the airport, I couldn't get my GPS to work, and if I'd just turned the correct way at the first street, I would have had no problem. So maybe just suggest that they might say, "Turn left at the light, even though you see planes in all directions." Very small glitch.

Breakfast was fine Doable given the pandemic room was better than expected and the bed was comfortable.

When i checked in I signed up for the 5:50 am shuttle to the airport and the person put me down n for 6:20 so the person checking me out had to cal for the shuttle but he arrived early but was on time for my original reservation

Love the cleanliness, the housekeepers were very kind and my son loved coming back to room with all his stuffies organized on the bed. Pool was fun, but small. staff were awesome, loved continental breakfast

Doors were loud, not specific "quiet hour" our three neighbors were a big family in three different rooms, they were very loud and constantly going in and out of each other rooms late and night and first thing in AM.

I was just there one night because I flew home the next day. I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and it had a free shuttle. Elaine who is charge of breakfast was a delight and breakfast was delicious. She made sure everyone had enough. She greeted everyone as they came in the room. I actually talked with her a little as she worked. It was nice to have a person to talk to since I was traveling in the alone. The room was beautiful and spacious. I would stay her again.

The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. I booked through booking.com which made it not possible to change rooms (needed different sized bed). I suggest you book directly.

The quality of the linens was good, but the duvet cover had been laundered using a scented product. For those of us who have environmental sensitivities it made for a difficult night of sleep.

The room had an odor like human feet. We called the front desk to get some spray or some solution. They offered nothing and told us to call back in the morning.

Great breakfast, plenty of items and very clean. The lady running the breakfast was very nice and super friendly every morning! My wife and I are in our 70’s and had arrived about 9am on a red eye flight from Las Vegas and were exhausted. Myra at the front desk found us a vacant room so we could get some rest so we could visit family later that night. It’s always the staff that makes the stays for customers. We were so impressed that we came back the following week for three more nights because of her kindness, the management deserves a lot of credit for finding wonderful help.

John at the front desk was was super nice and helpful. He directed us to a place to eat because we got in late at the hotel. The place he recommended was a short walking distance and had delicious food. He left such a good impression with us we even brought him back cheesecake from the place we went. We had several conversations with him that night and the night after! In my opinion he went above and beyond. He is a very good people person and is very good at his job! He really made our stay enjoyable and also had a nice smile that greeted us! Thank you!

The bathrooms did not have ventilation so when you took a shower it would steam up the whole bathroom.
