La Quinta by Wyndham Hartford Bradley Airport

Best recent airport stay near Bradley Airport in Hartford, convenient, easy shuttle access, 24 hour desk, room was clean, updated, had all necessary items, breakfast better than most included breakfasts at Bradley airport hotels.

I was in a room that had a connecting door to another room, which was locked and blocked off by furniture but furniture did not entirely block sound from the other room, So I was awakened by a TV in the next room at 5:30 am (after a 1 a.m. checkin after a late arriving flight. Overall hotel was quiet but doors between rooms need better soundproofing, even if they are not being used.

We stayed only for a night. Breakfast was available but we didn't use the option. The room was spacious and clean, had a TV and a fridge. I did like that I had the opportunity to wash some of our clothes. There is a small fee for using the washing machine and the dryer. The hotel sells washing powder too.

The room with the washing facilities wasn't on our floor and had hardly any ventilation. Otherwise I was happy with the rest of the hotel.

Very clean and updated. And the morning staff was wonderful. Bed was comfy.Very good location for flying out of the airport.

The lady who checked us in in the evening was a bit rude. She insisted that we park around the back of the building, where there were only semis parked. Then directed my husband down the wrong way when he asked where the elevators are. When we moved our car back to the front of the building, she was on her phone w someone, and loudly burst out laughing when we went around the corner, and was saying "guess what I just did" to the person on her phone. Not a good person to represent an otherwise good place .

The room was clean. The price was decent.

The only thing that we had to address, was someone came down with their water bottle and put their water bottle under the apple juice tap to fill their Poland Spring bottle! With COVID, they need to just go to bottle you can take and not juice you can pour. That was really gross! Also, the person running the dinning area, needs to clean the tables for others. They were not clean!

The location is great. It is possible to walk to the car rental locations from the hotel, eliminating at least one shuttle ride. The hotel was clean and had all the necessities. Limited (but good) eating options nearby.

Pick up at the airport was an almost insurmountable headache. I waited for over 25 minutes on hold while the person at the hotel's front desk tried to retrieve information about the free shuttle ... and this was after literally five minutes of ringing before there was an answer in the first place. Infuriatingly, there WAS a shuttle that passed by us at about 10 minute intervals. Our mistake was reading the gigantic lettering on the sign that said "park" and not understanding that that meant "hotel" as well. Turns out there was an arrangement that no one had told us about.

It was so close to the airport and to food restaurants. The shower was excellent! Nice service, Good Hot and assorted Breakfast! Easy access to the highway. So centric.

The night lady at the Front Desk no so nice. Second night there was a group of young guys slamming doors and speaking so loud on the halls at 1;00am. No one noticed or didn't did anything.

Was charged a $50 fee in addition to the room cost. Didn’t find out about it until it was added at time of check-in. Asked about it when I say it on my receipt. This was not our first stay at a LaQuinta but the time with this fee.

Location was great you had restaurants, convenient stores and gas stations within walking distance of the hotel.

The pillows are very soft so they just flatten soon as you lay on them, so it was a little difficult falling asleep because the pillows were very supportive.

Friendly staff, clean and well maintained, location convenient to Bradley airport. Reasonable rates.

Beds were small - smaller than regular queen size. There is noise from other rooms - suggest staying in a room at the end of the hall. We stayed in room 130 which was quiet and near a convenient side entrance/exit.

We were brought from the airport to the hotel by shuttle bus. It came very quickly after our landing in the night. Hotel room nice, clean and big enough. Breakfast was very good and broad. You could make a choice of 3 kinds of coffee. In the lobby you could use a hotel computer and the printer.
