Perfect location directly across from Winn Dixie, great beach location and far enough away from boardwalk traffic but you can see it in the distance so cool to watch.

The only negative thing I’d even have , which is such a minor complaint is the pools didn’t have the skimmers turned on so the pool closest to the ocean had a ton of bugs and bird feathers floating on top all over. It would have taken them just a few minutes to come out and scoop them out but just a minor thing other than that we will definitely stay again!! Great value for the price and location

This room was fine for my granddaughter and myself it had a decent ocean view and balcony. The area was good we liked that Ihop and win dixie was right there and the shops. Next time we stay we will get a full equipped room ocean pool front. The outside could use some tiding up but it was fine considering it was Bike week lol I will stay again.

Outside needs more raking and flowers halls swept up. Understands still recovering from the hurricane I'm hopeful my next visit will be all fixed up, but this would not stop me from staying again.

Great view, our room had a nice view of the ocean. The kids enjoyed the pool. Winsome from the staff was Fabulous! She went above and beyond! Every time she saw us she took the time to speak with us. She made my grandkids feel special too.

Room was a little on the small side. Bathroom was really cramped and the tub is cracked around the drain. The room needs a place to sit down besides the bed. Bed was very firm.

The rooms were cozy and nice. I didn't expect to get the full kitchen as the description did not mention it. But it was pleasant. The no smoke on the outdoor patio was a huge inconvenience but rules are rules

I hadn't realized how much damage the hurricane caused and there a good amount of the property that was unaccessible. I was upset at how old the images of the resort was to actual reality of it. It needs a good amount of work.

Computers were down when we arrived but they had already keyed our room keys so we were able to check in with no problems. Awesome view of the ocean, 2 swimming pools one was heated. Rooms were clean.

Could have had a better breakfast. We ask for towels and wash clothes and they brought 4 towels and only 1 wash cloth for 4 people. Overall we were satisfied.

Staff was very friendly from check in to check out! We also met one of their full-time tenants at the pool and he was very friendly and helpful with the area. The location was great! Hotel is centrally located and was easy to pick up I-4. It is also out of the crazy congested part of the island but had shopping and food nearby. Parking was free and good. Loved walking out of hotel and either going right to the pool or a few steps out onto the beach. Had 2 pools. We went in the one on the beachside. Loved that it was heated! Plenty of lounges around the pool and they give you towels to use. Most rooms have some kind of Oceanview. Room was a nice size and we had a kitchenette that was in its own room also had a full size refrigerator. They have ice machines which were always full. They offer continental breakfast which was nice.

Our room 301 was at the end of the hall which kinda put our balcony in a corner but we still had somewhat of a view. It was also next to a conference room and there was a door that connected our room. That was weird. The door wasn't locked and eventually opened. Called to desk they apologized and sent someone up to take care of. Room door had to really be slammed to close and the chain lock was broken and deadbolt very hard to turn. Room could us a little updating mostly in the kitchen and bathroom. They don't have papertowels in the kitchen. That would be a plus! The danish on the Continental breakfast were not really the greatest.

Where do I start? The room was VERY spacious, even with both sofa beds out! Beds and sofa beds were very comfortable. Sofa beds are platform-ish (hard) BUT was PERFECT for my bad back. IF I could have taken one home, I would have. Loved the color combination. Loved the kitchen and everything was in excellent working condition! The view was perfect, balcony a little small but accommodating. Pools were nice and heated. I have littles so I loved how one pool and the kiddie pool are off to the side, away from the main pool. Desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Smooth check in and out. It was a pleasure speaking with our housekeeper, I believe her name was Tonya (spell check). She is very sweet and was helpful with what I needed. Being a former housekeeper, I don't have my rooms tended while staying at hotels. I also try to leave the room the way I entered it. The pics are how I left it. I strip off what was used, in my case, just the pillows and sheets for the sofa beds, were used. NO, I did not re-make up the beds, as a frequent traveler, we always bring our own bedding and sleep on top, it's just easier. Wish I could add more photos.

Great place and location. Grew up in the Orlando area and try to come to Daytona every year or so. Our room was good but was one of the rooms that was updated yet. Our only problem was the toilet would fill up and the knows on the stove were marked wrong so we thought the stove didn't work. But we figured it out a day or so later. Great price and great view. We will be back

Just the items that didn't work at first but we're resolved and all was good.

Always a pleasure when we come here. The staff is amazing, feels like our home away from home. We came here to celebrate Mother's Day and it was beautiful , our family had a great time. Thank so much El Caribe Resort ! We will be back soon. Rooms are so clean and so comfy. Front desk customer service is always so sweet and professional from the minute we walk through the door until we need. Absolutely no problems never has been. When we go to plan a beach trip we automatically look up El Caribe First!!!!! Thank you again

Location is excellent, right on the beach. The view from the balcony is awesome. We will be returning here in the future.

The property is non-smoking. Definitely not in the rooms. But not even aloud on the balcony. That was probably the main issue I had. They do have 2 designated smoking areas, but they are on the other side of the parking lots. The hotel was a good value, but the rooms could be updated. The locks to the main doors were a bit tricky and the room had an off odor, Overall though we enjoyed our vacation there.
