The Resort is in the perfect location for both city and ocean views. I highly recommend the aqua view because the ocean can be seen from every room. The rooms are equipped with everything you need for a vacation. The staff were friendly. Room service orders were both accurate and efficient. The receptionist Nekoda displayed exceptional customer service skills. From the moment we arrived the receptionist made us feel like we were special guess. I wish all hotels displayed this type of customer service and professionalism. Originally we only intended to stay for one night but because Nekoda made us feel at home combined with the beautiful room and stunning view, we extended our stay three additional nights. The resort is so comfortable you don't want to leave.

The restaurant menu needs more options. The food is very good and the staff is awesome. I never waited more than 20 minutes from order time to room delivery. I would have liked to have more gourmet options though.

I love the hotel it's was awesome !!! I loved our suite just beautiful everything you need is in your room. The girls at the bar were awesome very friendly I had fun. The food at the bar was good especially the shrimp tacos and the cheeseburger was awesome the prices were a little high for food & drinks if your going to charge high prices make sure the Bartender make good drinks my drink tasted like there wasn't any alcohol in it.

The only thing I missed in th I s hotel is a restaurant there is a little spot at the bar where you can get some food but they closed at 8pm and the bar closed at 9pm its summer why close so early? the pool also closed at 9pm I'm on vacation I wanted to sit out and enjoy drinks.

We come to this place for our 1st year wedding anniversary. When we arrived, the staff was super friendly and checked us in right away. Our room was spacious. I loved the full kitchen and laundry room! I was told that they would even provide the detergent if i needed to wash something, such a plus! This hotel is located right on the beach, and I love that they use wristbands for key card entry into guest only areas, including your room as well as the entrance back on the property from the beach. This made us feel safe in an unfamiliar city. The view was amazing and the food was spectacular!! We will be back!!

We enjoyed our stay at Max Beach Resort. We loved the new, clean, spacious modern rooms and outdoor areas. The full size, fully equipped kitchen was a huge convenience. Also, the laundry machines in the unit was very convenient. The restaurant had a variety of food at a good price point. The game room provided extra entertainment for rainy days. The hotel had a gated parking garage which can only be accessed with a key just like all the other facilities, building, and rooms. The huge sliding doors and windows are sound proof, so the street noise is not heard.

The water heater was a bit loud when the water is running and for people sleeping in the living room it is a bit noisy. Also, we were not aware that the the beach is not private and that it has beach car access. On weekends and holidays it can get very crowded with lots of people and cars on the beach. After everyone leaves, the beach is dirty in some areas. I would say the hotel is nice but for the location, it's a bit overpriced.

It felt like home. It had a full-size kitchen with an island, a laundry room. We were able to come back home with clean clothes. All the amenities were exceptionally nice. The Beacon Lounge was a cool, chill hangout spot with plenty of games to play. I learned how to play shuffleboard for the first time. Very nice fitness center. The Vsnn Restaurant and Bar had some delicious food, and good drinks. The pool and cabana/ lounge area was very nice. You had great views of the ocean. It was pleasant and very family friendly.

Wish we could have stayed longer

We loved our room and our balcony are balcony was one of the side balconies facing the South we could see the building beside us but could see the beach and the road and actually it was a nice balcony especially with a glass railing. The bed could be a little softer according to my wife. The beach area was good and access to the beach was good. We didn't try any of the restaurant or the bar. And love how the floors are laid out where you have three units per cell. Also love the underground parking.

Everything. You are literally right on the beach. The rooms were new, clean and incredible. All Samsung appliances including washer and dryer. Beds were comfortable. The resort was safe and secure. The wristbands made it for easy access to everything. The food was excellent. The burger, tenders and fries were prob some of the best tasting food we had during our stay in Daytona Beach. Great for something quick. Not to mention, the rooms had a awesome view of the ocean. You can open the doors wide and let the ocean air come through. We slept every night with the deck doors wide open comfortably. Molly the bartender was excellent. She did a great job and did everything with humor and a great smile :)! The staff were all helpful and all look the part that you want to see at a good resort (all customer facing visually, dressed neatly, clean, helpful, patient and great service with a smile). For a person who had 20 years of hotel/hospitality experience under their belt, I was impressed with everything and would absolutely stay there again. You can tell the rest of the shoreline is being rebuilt in Daytona. Prob in 3-5 years it may be back to what it used to be, but the Max Beach Resort is a great start.

Only improvement I would make is to have a small shop where you can get aloe for burns/aspirin and other beach style necessities.

The Room was beautiful, big, and comfortable. We found everything we needed for a week. We definitely will come back.

Upon arrival to the room, the floor was with a lot of sand. Some of the kitchen dishes were dirty even if they were placed as clean. We needed to rewash everything in the kitchen before using it. Another thing I was disappointed with was that I requested a beach view and got a partial beach view. The balcony was huge and beautiful but we didn’t enjoy it much because it was facing streets.

Everything! The location is perfect, right on the beach. Nice rooftop terraces and club room. Bar right on the water.

Loved everything about the property. The staff is a bit annoying and one of the staff members LIED on me and told the supervisor that I had 10 people staying overnight in my THREE BEDROOM SUITE so I got a knock on my door demanding that I remove people out of my room. Almost ruined my son’s 10th birthday but it quickly got resolved. Absolutely hate that they monitor who comes in and out of your $2000 room. They made 2 of my family members pay $20 each to come up to my room for 4 hours. Outside of their nosiness everything about the property was amazing and I will be back!

Spacious 2 bedroom suit. Pots and pans. Utensils. Cookware. Washer and dryer. Broom. Restaurant on site.

Upon arrival found some hair on the floor and counters. Pool was dirty on the first day as well - not a very good impression. The walls in the hall and the ceiling in the suit were not finished - see pic. Remote location from activities. You have to buy dish soap, salt, laundry detergent. The pool is small considering the size of the hotel. No room service.
