The location on the bay was just amazing with the most beautiful sunsets, we saw a ray and nurse sharks. The room was spacious and clean with a blackout blind. A discount of 10% was given at Snooks next door and the food was delicious! The staff were very welcoming. Despite small niggles we would happily return.

The pool needs some work - resurfacing and could do with some umbrellas by the sun-beds (it is in full sun all day). The wifi didn’t work and despite reporting it didn’t get fixed. There were others having the same issue, my mobile worked everywhere else. The air con was noisy, we reported it and it seemed fixed but began again that night.

I loved the resort, little beach area was great and I really liked the use of the paddle boards and kayaks!! I really hated to leave, we walked over to High Tides to eat a couple of times, which was good! It was clean and relaxing,.

Some light breakfast would have been nice, but the coffee was great! I wish they had a guest shuttle available , could not get a rental as they were closed on Sunday, but the stay was great. We had bookings at another place in Marathon for part of our week long trip and we instantly missed Bayside which was more to our liking!!

It is a great hotel located on the bay. We had a room with a bay view. There are two peninsulas with lots of chairs to lounge on. We spent our evenings sitting by the water enjoying a glass of wine. Having Snooks right next door is great too. We enjoyed the kayaks and took a paddle and saw lots of Manatee.

We were there last year and they had 2 double kayaks. This year there was only one. It was very sought after. We only got it because the people in front of us got tired of waiting for the guy with the key to get there and unlock them. That was around 10 am (they were suppose to be unlocked at 8) So more double kayaks and make sure there is a key that doesn't leave with a worker.

The location is excellent. Kat gave us un upgrade to a beautiful room on the ground floor, with its own little private terrace facing the water. a real treat. Room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. The management office has a great self-service coffee & hot chocolate station, free of charge.

Mainly three issues in the bathroom: 1) The water pressure had a lot to be desired, just very weak; 2) There was a shampoo, conditioner and body lotion dispenser that did not work properly as there was no body lotion and the whole dispenser was coming apart due to a loose screw; and 3) The fan inside atop the toilette didn’t work.

The outside amenities absolutely made this property! It is right next door to a fabulous restaurant/bar beach club that played live music every night, so you can sit on the hotel’s beach and watch the beautiful sunset and enjoy the music and cocktails from next door!

We did not get an ocean view room that I was under the assumption I had booked. The bathroom was dirty and there was mold in the shower and sink. I went to housekeeping and got a bottle of bleach and cleaned it myself.

Nisha at checking was lovely. Very friendly. The room was comfortable. The grouds are beautiful. Plenty of seating space for guests to enjoy ocean view and the beautiful sunsets from the dock. Restaurant next store was delicious. Location is close to attractions like African Queen, scuba diving, marina as well as many restaurants. Off main road and across the street from Walgreens, but once on property you are in an oasis. Lots of chickens running around!

The room was very clean, up to date, there was enough room, the beds were comfortable. plenty of places to sit outside by the dock. We used the kayaks and enjoyed paddling on the bay. The complimentary Starbucks coffee/tea at the front desk available at all hours is a nice amenity. The staff is very inviting and seemed eager to help. The nearby bar/restaurant had evening live music that you could listen to from the hotel's dock with your own drinks without having to go next door. And it wasn't a disturbance to sleeping because the music was over before 9PM. And you are close to so many things.

The only amenity that needs work would be the complimentary cruiser bikes. The bikes have seen better days. The handles are worn out and they have wraps on them that were very sticky. Also, the bike seats tended to be on the loose side. We told the front desk, and I am sure they will address it.

The facilities were clean, and comfortable. The amenities available were a lot more than I expected. It was quiet and the staff was polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend Bayside Inn to couples, solo travelers, and families.

Beautiful place with very comfortable beds. Everything was clean. Wonderful AC. The only downside was that they say it’s pet friendly and as soon as we got there they told us the dog was only allowed in the room and able to use the very small dog bark park area. I brought my diabetic dog on vacation with me for a reason, not to leave her in the room all day, very disappointed about this especially to see 5 other dogs at the beach at different times.
