Kimpton Fitch Lodge, an IHG Hotel

The breakfast voucher was great for a little shop very close to our room. The food was exceptional. The young man at the front desk during the day and the lady at night were exceptional. Very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and eager to assist. They are an asset to your team.

It could’ve been a little cleaner. Very musty smell in the room. There was a water leak running across the threshold of the bathroom. I think it was coming from the fridge. The young man at the desk said he would notify maintenance. I hope it got fixed so no one falls.

Would have been nice for someone to get the luggage to the room.

Great location! Walking distance to Harbor Walkway, and Duval Loop shuttle was one block away! They gave out vouchers to a great breakfast & lunch place right next door! we also love that we could rent bikes through the lodge for 1 cent a piece!

We were not offered any “welcome drinks” upon arrival as stated on the website and booking confirmation. Our room was across Eaton Street which was a super busy road so when crossing to go to the main lobby or pool, sometimes it was a pain.

Stayed in the two bedroom suite. Very nice and comfortable. Loved the location, easy access everywhere. Quiet area which was nice. Staff was great! Very attentive to any needs. Appreciated they let us keep our luggage onsite after we checked out, since we didn't leave until later in the afternoon.

No dishes, cookware etc.. if you wanted to stay in and make your own meals. Never saw it mentioned anywhere that you need to bring your own dishes and cookware. Pool looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a while.

The room was small but absolutely perfect. The whole place was well maintained and manicured. Everything was new and updated. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I had a very unpleasant experience with trying to book another local hotel and it was a MESS due to our 1st "tropical storm" of the season. I highly reccommend this propoerty and will book here again. This hotel is also walking distance from the Key West Express!!

Would have been great to have a K-cup coffee maker in our room. And a Microwave in the rooms.

The hotel was 4 blocks away from Duval street and two blocks away from the waterfront. The location on key west couldn’t be more perfect- close enough to walk, far enough away from the noise. We utilized every amenity the hotel had to offer- free bikes, pool, and the continental breakfast! Even if you don’t wake up early enough for the free bike (which we always called around 10 am and they had them available) they will deliver bikes to you for $10 per day! So cheap and easy! The continental breakfast was small but much better than most- good coffee, Chobani yogurt, muffins, and organize juice. Upon your arrival, you’re welcomed with locally brewed Shandy Beer and can grab a water bottle daily at reception. I also LOVED the ability to text the front desk when needed. They were very prompt and friendly.

The rooms are small, but it’s key west- what do you expect?!

Very clean room. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The pool is small and often crowded. Pool towels are often not available. I liked the purified water and ice at the hotel. Overall this is a nice place to stay. I will stay here again.

The A/C unit kicks on and is a little loud.

Great overall experience at this location with one or two minor notes for future travelers. There's no dedicated parking for this location so understand you are on the street and could be parking blocks away from your room. The room we stayed in had a very tight sink area in which to brush your teeth, clean your face, etc. (this could be a challenge for a larger traveler). Duval street is several blocks away (maybe 12-15 minute walk). This wasn't an issue for us but could be for some. Our room had a very nice balcony for morning coffee but not all rooms have this amenity, so if that's of value to you, check your room amenities before making reservations. We were very satisfied with our continental style breakfast with Java (of course, lol). There's a small market around the corner from the lodge, approximately 5-6 minute walk if you need some basics for your room. The Staff was friendly, and accommodating, check-in was very smooth (greeted with a welcome mini bottle of wine and bottles of water). The facility has a small pool/pool area that was very quaint but might get congested if more than a handful of guests were using the space at the same time. At the time of our trip, the pool area wasn't being used. Sound continental breakfast. Loved our balcony. Extremely clean and comfortable room. Down-comforter bed and pillows were great! No issues with the facilities at all. We would choose to stay at Kimpton Fitch Lodge in the future!

Our main issue, and to some degree this can't be helped, is with the parking situation. There's no dedicated parking for this location so understand you are on the street and could be parking blocks away from your room.

Loved the location and we loved the staff with whom we interacted. The location was great and the surrounding area was great.

What we didn't like is the turn down service was not provided. We were there 5 nights and we didn't have our room cleaned once. The explanation was that it was due to Covid19, yet I saw other resorts providing the service. The pool didn't have towels available on multiple days. Fortunately we travel a great deal and have become accustomed to, "quirks," and you just work around them. When we asked for additional towels they were provided immediately, but towards the end of the vacation we built up quite a large pile of them in the bathroom.
