Room is pleasant Convenient to have full size refrigerator, sink, microwave. Dock and pool areas are nice

This place is NOT what you’d expect for the price. Area near room is like a standard motel. Internet is very slow most of the time. Basically dead in the evenings. Pillows are worn out. Flat and lumpy. Shower head is old Very limited kitchen equipment.

Location, Location, Location. The staff were great, very clean and quiet. Great pool and scenery. Uber anywhere on island for $12 or less, great for hitting Duval St.

Nothing not to like. Place is easy to find, easy parking, great location on harbor. Great scenery, especially at night and very quiet while we were there in mid July.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a delightful hostel in Key West over Memorial Day weekend. Situated in a stunning harbour location, this unique accommodation offered both houseboats and rooms, providing a serene and picturesque experience. The hostel's location was simply breathtaking. Nestled in the little harbour, it exuded a tranquil ambiance that instantly captivated me. Surrounded by the shimmering waters and an array of houseboats, the setting felt like a hidden gem, offering a sense of escape from the bustling city. Although not right in the heart of the main city area, the hostel's proximity to the main attractions allowed for convenient exploration. One of the highlights of the hostel was its unique communal area, located outside in the little harbour. This open-air space provided a captivating atmosphere where guests could relax and socialize, surrounded by the gentle sway of boats and the calming sounds of the water. It was a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring Key West, and the setting added a touch of charm and tranquility to the overall experience. The hostel provided the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The rooms were adequately furnished, offering comfortable beds and sufficient storage space. The communal kitchen was well-equipped, allowing guests to prepare meals and share culinary experiences with fellow travelers. The hostel's focus on fostering a sense of community was evident in the thoughtful design of the communal areas, inviting guests to connect and forge new friendships. Considering Memorial Day weekend, it's important to note that the rates were slightly higher than usual. While the increased prices were expected for this peak period, it would have been ideal if they were more commensurate with the overall value provided. Nevertheless, the unique setting and ambiance, along with the amenities offered, made the expense worthwhile and contributed to a memorable stay.

Unfortunately, during my stay, there was a rowdy and noisy group occupying one of the rooms, which disrupted the overall tranquility of the hostel. Additionally, upon entering my room for the first time, there was a slightly unpleasant smell that lingered, requiring some ventilation to improve the ambiance.

Very clean and quiet. Room had everything we needed. We had scooters so it was easy to get around. If staying here, you would need some mode of transportation to access Duval, may be a bit far to walk.

No vent in bathroom and it took forever to get hot water in the bathroom or kitchenette sink. I wish they had Do Not Disturb signs. We requested no housekeeping services and our room was serviced without our permission on Tuesday and another day they opened our door and were ready to come in while we were still there. If I stay again, I will bring my own Do Not Disturb sign.

Room was much bigger then expected and everything was so clean. It was a mile to Duval and we walked it a few times. Uber was also really fast. Great value! They don’t add all the parking, resort fees, destination fees and on and on fees!

We loved how quiet and peaceful it was. We stayed on one of the houseboats and it was immaculate, roomy, well equipped and had stunning views of Garrison Bight. We watched dolphins play as we sipped our coffees. The staff were all friendly and helpful. This is an older property like much of KW but the hosts do a great job of maintaining it and making it a clean, quiet and safe home base for all the island activities. I also liked how parking is included. We parked at check in and didn’t get back in our car for our entire stay. We walked, biked and used Uber. They do not advertise that they are a luxury property but they do have high standards for a Motel. Housekeeping came daily and spruced up and emptied garbage. Many chain hotels have stopped daily housekeeping service. We would definitely do a return visit!

Old school Room Key was a very minor inconvenience to carry around, we like to travel light.

Beautiful quiet location with a private patio. The spacious room included full size refrigerator, microwave, dishes and utensils. Staff was so professional and helpful. Pool area was also spacious with amble loungers to accomodate a crowd though we rarely saw more than 3 people using the facilities. Great outdoor eating area with gas grills. Will defintely be our first choice when we return.

Last night at the Harborside we arrived from dinner to find a HUGE white Ford Super Duty 250 Club Cab, AL plates, parked in our space. Tuesday morning we had to carry our luggage in the rain to our car around the corner. Our room number was displayed on our parking space.

Our house boat and the set up here at the Harbourside Motel exceeded our expectations - it was spacious inside and had everything we needed. The pool area was idea for the kids. Simple but safely enclosed and fabulously sunny all day. There was a great little bar/ restaurant just around the corner, on the marina with the best fish tacos. The location is a bit of a walk from the hustle and bustle of the centre, but the walk in is lovely.

We found the 'old fashioned' lock and key method for the doors frustrating - the door to the houseboat locks automatically when you close it, so the kids ended up locking the key inside multiple times a day!!

Harborside rooms were clean and comfortable. The suite with kitchen was well stocked with all that was needed. The pool was large with plenty of chairs for relaxing. We grilled one night and ate on the elevated deck overlooking the harbor. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location was okay as long as you had a car or bikes. It was peaceful and good to get away from the noise if Duval Street. I would stay here again.

We did need a car to go anywhere. We never had a problem parking.

Excellent location, EVERYTHING was VERY clean including the BBQ grills. It was such a beautiful location and the room was so comfortable. The office staff(Bob) was SO kind and helpful during check-in. All other staff(especially the housekeepers) we came in contact with were very pleasant and ALWAYS smiled and said hello. We are looking forward to returning someday to KeyWest and will DEFINITELY be booking here.
