Motel 6-Lakeland, FL

The staff here, from the ladies at the front desk, to the housekeeping staff to the gentlemen keeping up the grounds/maintenance are fantastic!!! They truly go above and beyond to accommodate me, ensure my safety daily - I just can not say enough great things about these people!!! I absolutely feel as though I've been embraced by family and that's a great feeling especially now because of personal issues that are causing quite a lot of stress right now. The staff here rocks!!! And it starts at the top - Ivory-GM, Lakita-Assistant GM do an amazing job at keeping their staff motivated, involved and overall HAPPY and it makes a huge difference in their work ethic and ultimately their performance!!! Noise from the highway but that's completely out of their control!!!

I need to mention something that I consider a "class act." The assistant general manager, Lakita, had a situation one morning where there weren't enough housekeepers. Lakita put on a housekeepers apron, retrieved a housekeeping cart and proceeded to clean rooms along side her staff!!! In my book, that's called a class act!!!! She absolutely did not have to step into the role of housekeeping staff that morning, but she did without hesitation!!! That speaks volumes to not just guests like myself, but to the people she works with!!!! She didn't want her staff to feel overwhelmed and be overworked. That's awesome!!!!! There's not enough people out there that display that outstanding work ethic!!!! She needs a raise and then a vacation (paid in full.)

Once again the staff here go above and beyond to ensure that my stay is as comfortable and safe as it possibly can be!!!! Jackie one of the ladies that holds down the front desk is awesome!!!! I've dealt with her on prior occasions but I always forgot to get her name!!!! I remembered to get her name because she deserves mentioning!!!! She is always upbeat, professional and keeps me smiling when I don't always want to smile!!!! I truly hope that the "upper management" of this Motel 6 realize the quality people that they employ!!!! The rates for this weekend got raised significantly and I understand that fluctuations are to be expected but I don't have to like it!!!! I'll still pay because I'd rather stay here than anyplace else!!!

Lakita, Assistant G.M., is ALWAYS accommodating, professional and she consistently tries to help me secure a safe room at an affordable, competitive rate!!!! Allison who was "holding down the fort" this morning also displays qualities of professionalism and caring that I feel go above and beyond what's expected of an employee!!! These ladies are truly an asset for Motel 6 and should be seen as role models to other/new team members!!!!! Thanks 🙏 ladies!!!! Susan F.🥰

Nice staff who worked with my schedule. Very accommodating.

Everything was perfect, I'm not really complaining. I'm sure the staff would have moved me rooms if I really wanted... the first couple days my room was a single queen one adult I end up moving rooms a couple days later same price single queen one adult except the second room didn't have a freezer fridge or microwave and the bed was way thinner than the first rooms queen bed.

The staff from the ladies in the office, the housekeeping staff and the gentlemen maintaining the grounds were wonderful 💯💯💯💯💯!!!!! Thank you everyone for all that you do - Susan

On several occasions there was no hot water!!!! The staff stayed in top of the problem and did their best to get the hot water issues resolved but it happened several times.

the location, the price and your wonderful staff. I had to evacuate with my dogs from the hurricane. You staff was wonderful and very helpful. I would recommend this to anyone traveling. there's even a pool!!!

the 3:00 check-in was a bit of an issue but it was ok. The staff did everything they could to help. I also think the big dumpster wasn't too nice. Over all the place was great. Dunkin donuts and restaurants right next door

Staff as always went above and beyond to accommodate my stay!!! Tom, gentleman who maintains grounds/facilities hits the ground running every day that he is here!!!! He does a fabulous job keeping this facility in great shape and goes out of his way to ensure that everyone is safe and comfortable. He takes great pride in his job and it shows!!!!!

Increased cost of the rooms for this weekend!!!!!!

Very friendly clean workers are very nice and friendly. Had an issue with online booking and the staff at Motel 6 helped me with no problem I love it here. This New Motel 6 staff and rooms are way better than the old. Thanks to Mrs.Dorthy, Mr.Ozzy and Ms.Keke

Everything went well love it had no issues at all I was able to clean my own room which is my own preference

Ozzy is an amazing I'm not sure if he's just a problem person or the manager or whatever but he is top notch he helped me get him room and also help me with my problem that I had during the night and yeah he's just he's doing great

My heater exploded and the new room I was in heater didn't work so it was cold but having Ozzy makes up for the whole thing
