Travelodge by Wyndham Lakeland

With Covid still being played, The Hotel was on top of precautions, masks in all common areas, clean but it always is. This is the hotel we stay at when we visit Lakeland, and we stay at least twice a year.

There is Nothing we didn't like, We stay here whenever we are in the area, or surrounding even when we go to Orlando or Tampa . It's easy right off the Interstate.

Excellent location, and the BIGGEST rooms. At 375 sqft, they are the BEST value of any hotel in the area. I've shopped it, and you can't even get a suite this size at competitor hotels that charge twice as much. With patio sliders right off the patio to the largest and nicest pool around, this makes Travelodge our favorite place to stay for our family.

Lack of garbage bags in the rooms, and towels. We had only 2 hand towels for a family of four, I think we should at least have had 4 bath towels because we had 2 beds. This used to be the norm and the first time this happened, so not sure if this is because of covid restrictions, new housekeeper, but regardless, the staff is always accommodating and will supply more. We do miss the continental breakfast in the lobby, however, IHOP is right next door and McDonald's is right across the street so there are other options.

You will not find a more accommodating staff, larger rooms or a more refreshing pool anywhere in Lakeland! Donna and Toni and Tammy are great, and will do anything to make sure that you have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. I love the incredibly large rooms, that open up to your private patio by the pool. They are larger than most suites we've stayed in. The beds are comfortable and the rooms and facilities are always clean and pristine. The pool is the biggest one around with ample room for swimming and sunbathing. Although there is no breakfast on site, there is a new snack and cooler area in the lobby, where you can buy breakfast or lunch snacks on the go, or head to IHOP which annexes the property for casual dining. Free WiFi access and business center. The location is perfect, with malls, shops, dining and transportation if needed. You will not find a better value for your money anywhere else in the area!

The property is older, and some of the furnishings are a little dated. If it had a refresh on furniture, decor or a remodel in the bathrooms, it would be exquisite. But I have no complaints, just a suggestion.

The staffs were friendly and incredibly helpful. The lobby, hallways and rooms were well maintained and smelled good. We saw them cleaning everyday like non-stop😉. They attended to our needs and were very accommodating. They went over and beyonD to make our stay enjoyable. The pool is a good catch as well as the balcony for each room, perfect for breathing fresh air and play area for kids too. We highly recommend this to our friends! Thank you so much. Rooms facing I-4 are Kings beds but the best view and much nicer than those facing the pool area. . Over the last two months, I have stayed here several times and for an 8.5+ rating, it is a good option for less than $100 a night.

My husband and I really enjoyed the outdoor chairs and the ash tray provided ( sorry we are smokers ). Each room had an element of privacy outside because we weren’t bothered by any other guest. The guest that were in the rooms on each side of us weren’t bothered by us.The our king size bed provided a great night sleep ( not to soft and not to hard ).

The room itself was perfect. Close in proximity to both the ice machine and the laundry room. Directly below us was the vending machine and we had a pool view. IHOP directly nextdoor with a shared sidewalk. I was worried with my children here that they would make too much noise but the floors are pretty solid and we had a corner room. The maids make rounds practically all day long from 9:00 to 5:00 I can always find a few in the hallway cleaning a room.

I understand it's Florida so there's not always a lot that can be done about it but there were huge palmetto bugs I found a couple times throughout my stay, mainly in the bathroom, it's Florida so it happens but it's still gross

The room had been recently remodeled, attractively. Bedding was very comfortable, as were pillows. immaculately clean
